Thanks, Mary!

maybe it's tendonitis then? I've had it flare up many times in the past and eventually it calms down. I've been keeping it stabilized as much as possible when I'm not working and using ice/heat and muscle rubs in the meantime. I think it's starting to slowly feel better but we shall see I guess. I can't afford to miss work if I have to have surgery

Morning everyone. It is going to be another hot, forest fire smokey day. I am so over this. I am feeling kinda yucky today with a headache and mildly sore throat. It is likely from the crummy air quality. I was planning on doing a stair climb at the park this morning, but decided it is not a good idea with the poor air quality (unhealthy for everyone level of bad). So it is likely to be a long walk instead. Here's to hoping we get some relief soon.

Accountability: I had a terrible night last night. I had pizza for dinner. Pizza! I paid for it, because it made me feel ill. I still feel off today, so I will be keeping it light today. Why do I do these sort of things when I know better? Ugh! Fat girl brain.

QOTD: I have motion sensor lights in the back yard. My yard is fenced, so they are for me when I get home at night after dark to light the space from the garage to my back door. I also have a dusk to dawn porch light, so it just does its own thing. I like having a porch light on at night. It just feels more homey and welcoming to me.

Today I must get a pedicure, and I have a bunch of plants I bought yesterday that I need to get in the ground and/or pots. I also have some work to do on a reunion I am co-chairing. Plus the tomatoes are starting to come in. I need to do something with the latest batch and check to see what is ripe on the plants. I made a big batch of chicken stock yesterday, so I also need to get that into the freezer.

2 years, 9 months post op:

I don't have much of a plan today (see feeling yucky reference above), but I have chicken I grilled the other day in the fridge, and prawns that need to be cooked, so that is likely the menu. No carbs for sure. I have a carb hangover.

Have a great day everyone, and make better choices than I did!

Thank you for the Birthday wishes! A completely late post for me. I started my day in early spin class and then had to rush to a deposition! I'm going to try really hard to stay on plan and not fall for the "but it's my birthday" rationale to eat off plan!!

Hello everyone,

But of course it's another late post today!

QOTD: We have light sensors in the back of our house and in the front near the garage area. Both of them work whenever they damn well feel like it and sometimes they never shut off! So we just use them without using the sensors with the light switch.

Accountability: I stayed on plan 100% yesterday. I've been in a stall for over 3 weeks now and it's frustrating but hopefully it will pass soon. I'm staying on plan and staying positive. Maybe I'm not eating enough carbs!!!! Just kidding LOL!!!

My menu is the same as yesterday,

B: 2eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice of cheese

L: 3oz turkey breast

S: 1 1/2 oz turkey breast, 1/2 oz prosciutto di parma

D: 1 1/2 oz ground sirloin, 2 oz hot italian sausage, 2 forkfuls broccoli rabe

S: ostrim meat stick plus one bite

Cals:675, Carbs:6, Protein:92

Enjoy the rest of your evening everybody!

Keep at it- it'll pass. Maybe take a few days off from weighing if it gets you feeling down?
