What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Good morning menu folks! It's another sunny but mild day so I plan an outside walk at lunch. Then tonight is deep water aerobics again, so I'll get in plenty of exercise.
Accountability: For lunch yesterday, I decided to get food in the work cafeteria rather than eating what I packed. I had ham and Brussels sprouts. I love sprouts!
QOTD: We live in a neighborhood with street lights so there is plenty of light without putting on ours. If we plan to go out or have people coming by, then we put them on, but not otherwise.
Menu:
Breakfast: Hard boiled egg, 2 pieces turkey bacon
Snack: Lemonade protein shake
Lunch: TJ's Vera Cruz swai, baby carrots
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: hamburger, cauliflower
Exercise: long walk at lunch, deep water aerobics

Morning!
happy birthday Stacy!
we did a Costco run yesterday! So. Much. Meat.
I told hubby I felt guilty because we've been good at supporting our local butcher, but Costco just has that effect!
Also stocked up on premier protein shakes, and I'm trying their bars. I shared a mint one with the Mr. last night. They are ok. Not something I want to be a regular part of my diet, but they work in a pinch. They are carbier, but on the days I would use them, it fits my ratios.
Having said that, having a freezer full of meat again also means there's little reason to not have ready made dense protein on hand...
accontability: good. Stuck to my menu.
menu:
B: coffee and premiere protein
L: leftover sausage with veggies
D: Mississippi pot roast in the slow cooker if I get off the couch after this post hahah
Have a good one !
