Good morning~ This summer has been super busy with less than fun stuff, but I'm trying to make the weekends count as best I can. The weather has been strange this summer and more so lately, cloudy, overcast, humid and weird temps. Along with my being so cold all the time, it doesn't really seem like summer at all when I'm still wearing long sleeves and sweaters daily. Go figure! I'm looking forward to fall anyway, its my favorite season and of course that includes football! I have to buy all new Patriots spirit wear as my old stuff is ridiculously huge on me now. I need to get shopping!

QOTD - I wear hipsters undies (half way between bikini and boy I think) or a simple ballet body suit and neither really leave lines that I notice or care about anyway.

Accountability - Impulse purchase of Quest Protein chips while shopping became my dinner instead of eggs. Improved my protein and calorie totals, but not a good choice for me. I would rather eat real food.

8+mo post op - so bloated no scale

b- coffee w/heavy cream and splenda, beef stick

l-tuna salad (mayo and onion) w/balsamic vinegar

d-scrambled eggs

v/l on track

e-60 min lap swim

Have a great day OH!

QOTD: Hanes has a microfiber seamless line of underwear that is great for no VPL under leggings and such, but one has to remember to get the correct size. Some people will get a smaller size than they should have and it will cut into them causing a VPL. Jockey also has some no line underwear in different styles. I think the key is making sure what ever brand and style you choose they have to be seamless.

Like these no line

Daisy - why are you discriminating? I bet Grim and Duffman and Chris can give us some input on whether or not they wear thongs or high cut bikini briefs ;) LOL!

To answer the question, now that I have lost the weight, I pretty much wear body shaping maxi dresses or skinny jeans or leggings every day, so I am a thong girl (so as to avoid the VPL). You can find a great selection at Nordstrom Rack!

You are rocking maintenance - I know you say "boring menu, same as yesterday" but you consistently eat such healthy high protein options - you're my hero!

I am so super excited y'all...I am meeting NYMom (Cynthia) and Erin T and Gwen (both from the VSG board) for lunch today! We are pretty much a Dr. Michaels fan club (best plastic surgeon everrrrr) and they are doing Dexa scans - I am just crashing for lunch!

Time Since Surgery: 3 years, 8 months

B: Turkey burger with a slice of cheese (leftover from yesterday's lunch yum, so good with scallions and spices inside)

L: The restaurant is delicious Mediterranean small plates and I am planning on a few bites of: fresh pita bread, roasted red pepper and feta spread, mustard shrimp, and brussels sprouts with yogurt and berries!

D: Leftover salmon patties I made last night - I use grated onion, lots of spices, canned salmon, egg, a little bit of bread crumbs, and then pan fry them. Yum.

E: Long walk in the neighborhood since it doesn't seem oppressively hot

V: Patches are on!

Have a wonderful day, everyone! And I love the Friday photo idea. I am going to struggle to pick just one thing!

Well DC...now that you mention it.....LOL

I am a boxer briefs kinda guy, though I wear boxers as well. I prefer to wear them slightly snug as it does not feel like I am wearing anything when working out/running, if I wear regular boxers when working out they seem to get in the way.

Cool regarding lunch, enjoy!

I am excited for sure!

Also, I LOVE how many menus have "Emiepie Egg Salad" as a food. You could trademark that stuff! It's soooo good.

I have to agree with Mike! LOL! I am a boxer kind of guy as well. I'm between and briefs and loose. I wear the cotton jersey ones which are somewhere in between the two! LOL!! TMI???

QOTD: I've never thought about panty lines at all. I bought a bunch of new underwear about 40 lbs ago because the old ones were falling off, so they're fairly loose ( not falling off loose, but definitely not form-fitting). Also, I've always been apple-shaped, so getting pants to fit my waist means they're pretty roomy around my flat butt and skinny thighs. I've never worn shapewear - I just tuck my stomach skin into my jeans or "tummy control" leggings (hate that phrase!!). So anyway, I don't think this has ever been an issue for me, fortunately!!

Accountability: stayed on plan yesterday, but I had a protein shake in the evening just because I could and because I'd planned for it. I was NOT hungry. I need to work on this....

2 years 2 months out (maintenance)

B: homemade plain Greek yogurt, raspberries

S: coffee with half & half, mango/coconut protein shake

L: 1/2 C Emiepie egg salad on a FlatOut FoldIt, peach

D: I'm thinking a salad with some rolled-up turkey slices

probably another yogurt or SF protein pudding pop if I can afford the calories

Good morning,

Im leaving today to go to a four day Christian music festival. I'm sad that my brother and sil can't attend due to her having liver cancer. She is having chemo today and can't be around crowds.

Accountability I had some skinny pop popcorn last night.

Qotd guess I don't worry about panty lines. At least they know I'm wearing underwear.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna and cottage cheese

the rest of the day is in the air.

Ill be bringing protein shakes and bars with me in case I need them.

Have a good rest of your week.
