WELCOME BACK, Daisy! So sorry to hear about your MIL's dog. How are Amy & Oliver? I'll bet they were sure glad to have you and Arun back home!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JB and Writergurl!

QOTD: I wish there was something else we could take besides Tylenol because Tylenol is not very good for one's liver and I have liver problems. But my liver doctor said it would be okay if I take it occasionally. I have tension headaches nearly daily. I also get migraines, but I have a prescription medication I can take for them. (Amerge / Naratriptan).

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 64, Calories - 1, 184, Carbs - 107.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: Lettuce, tomato, chicken, low cal dressing

D: beef pot roast

S: Light & Fit Greek yogurt

E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning and welcome back!!! Missed you. :)

Had a busy weekend repainting furniture, and I'm so happy with how it all turned out. Especially the china cabinet. Not that I have china lol - but I do have a better set of dishes and some other serving dishes that I keep in there. Still have to pick out some new hardware for the knobs/pulls but for now I guess I will put the old ones back on.

QOTD- I haven't had any reason to take painkillers yet but we use a product called Painatrate by Melaleuca. It smells similar to Absorbine Jr, but it's a cream. It even provides some relief for headaches but I wouldn't expect that it would work for a migrane or anything.

Accountability- the weekend was good for me except that I didn't quite get the 60 grams of protein in on 2 days- mainly because I was busy and didn't stop to eat when I should have- who is this person??? But I will be more mindful in future.

Menu

B - Protein Shake

L- we will see what's on the menu in the cafeteria. Meal prep didn't happen but it has to. My biggest problem is that I have a hard time eating meat that's been reheated. OUr caf is very reasonably priced, so it's working for me. And they always have protein options.

D: Family is having tacos- so I will have the meat and cheese.

Snack- not sure - will see if I need it for the protein.

They do seem to be recurring on the thread - I haven't had any for a while... Maybe later this week!

I love wrapping the taco meat and cheese in a lettuce leaf. Romaine and bibb lettuce(AKA butter lettuce) work really well!
