I love turkey burgers. Instead of plain olive oil, I mix pesto into mine. Pesto turkey burgers are some of my favorite things!

Oooh pesto would be awesome! I make all kinds of turkey burgers - sometimes I do taco seasoning and cheese, sometimes feta and black olives and artichokes (I am the only one who likes those, however)...there are so many variations! Now I want to make pesto burgers!

The best thing is, my BF loves them and loves how they are healthier than regular burgers, and the kids can't tell the difference between turkey and beef, so they eat them up (though, just add American cheese and ketchup and I bet they would eat just about anything ha ha!).

I'll do plain pesto with a slice of provolone cheese. I also do a pesto sundried tomato version. I chop the tomato really fine and mix it in. The pesto is awesome, it adds so much flavor and a ton of moisture

That is a great idea!! I haven't had turkey burgers in a long time, that makes me want to make them again! Thank you!

Edited for typo. What else is new?! LOL!

When I was newly PreOp and needed something savory, I added TJ quinoa pesto into Greek yogurt. Treat!

back to work today - boo! Also waiting to hear on the insurance adjuster re: my car - which someone rear-ended while I was waiting at a stop light yesterday afternoon. This is the last thing that needed to happen... :-(

QOTD: Tylenol. Pre-surgery I thought Tylenol did diddly-squat and I dreaded giving up ibuprofen, but then, I don't have the massive headaches and arthritis pain that I had pre-surgery, so it hasn't been bad. It takes the edge off it - and often times that's all I need.

trying to stay lower sodium today. My sodium levels have been through the roof lately, and I feel like a waterlogged mess!

2 years 2 months out:

B: plain Greek yogurt, strawberries & hazelnuts

S: protein shake, coffee with half & half

L: Emiepie's egg salad in a FlatOut FoldIt

D: leftover salad from last night, turkey slices

maybe another yogurt later
