Good morning friends... Welcome back Daisy glad you had an amazing vacation! Did not make it on here to post although I did read most everyone's posts while in meetings yesterday (I know I know I should pay attention in meetings and I did pay attention to you all!). Today is another meeting day and guess what tomorrow is yup more meetings.... However, good news is I think Thursday and Friday I can actually do some actual work huh who knows maybe.

QOTD: I take Tylenol for minor aches and pains and then I have a prescription for a narcotic for my migraines. For the past few days I have had this really bad crick in my neck from sleeping on it wrong and my husband has been a real sweetheart and been giving me neck rubs with this stuff like ben gay but it does not smell. It has helped.

Food for the day:

B: Bacon and hard boiled egg white

L: Supposed to order out from the meeting but I am sick of the lunch place we order from so I brought chicken salad from Trader Joes

D: taco meat

S: No clue yet

Have a great day folks I'm off can you guess to where? Yup a meeting please think of me as you walk outside in the sunshine or even in the rain as the room I am in has no windows... :-(

I have a **** day planned - I have to take my car to get inspected. Well, in DC there is ONE inspection station for the entire city. And although I tried to make an online appointment, I waited too long, so I get to go wait in a long line that wraps around a warehouse to have my every two years OBDII test done. My car is old (2008) but low mileage (50,000!) so it will surely pass, but not how I want to spend a couple hours of the day! I am about to hop on the elliptical so that's out of the way and I can't use the time spent on the inspection as an excuse to not work out!

L: Turkey burgers - I am loving these - I lightly mix up ground turkey, scallions, olive oil, parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and a tiny bit of bread crumbs

D: ? Maybe salmon patties or chicken sausage from Costco - AmyLu at Costco has these spicy andouille chicken sausages but I recently found some cheddar and carmelized onion ones and they are excellent!

V: patches will go on after my shower

E: 45 minutes elliptical

Hey DCGirl, Cant you just take it to a place in NoVa or Maryland? I assume the stations in the DMV would have inspections stickers for all states since we are a tri-state area

Sadly no - in DC, if you have DC plates and a DC registration, you have to go to the ONE place in DC (near the Nationals Stadium in SW DC) for the inspection. There are no other options. It's SO annoying. Luckily the line wasn't long so I pre-complained for nothing! (though the man there told me I look like Crystal Koons from the Koons Ford commercials and she has a good ten years on me AND is super annoying on her endless commercials so that was kind of a bummer lol).

I drooled a little in mah coffee over your turkey burgers! :D
