I forgot QOTD! I already know I'll want at least a tummy tuck, breast lift (there's no way EE ta tas aren't going to be deflated to my belly button), and arms. My mom had RNY 15 years ago and will not wear anything that shows her bare arms, and I refuse to me MORE self conscious after weight loss than I am before. Of course, I don't know what I'll look like afterwards, but my mom and I share a body type so I feel like it's a good indicator.

Hello Everyone!

I had a great weekend. Yesterday my twins turned 23! My son is off working in Tulsa and was literally out celebrating his birthday when that tornado touched down but he made it home fine. My daughter came home and over the weekend we went to a movie, the zoo and dinner. It was a great time.

Accountability: doing well here. I switch things out on occasion but I'm still able to avoid the carbs etc and keep my calories below 800 so I'm happy with that right now and I reassess where I am in the journey.

QOTD: I would never have thought I'd entertain the idea of PS especially at 56 however I having so much hanging skin. My tummy and thighs don't bother me because I'm pretty good at covering those up. However, my arms really upset me. I conduct with them all the time and have good muscle tone but the flapping skin is not just irritating but distracting and during the summer is a pain in the ass to have to wear elbow length sleeves. My face is looking pretty worn too. Problem is I don't have the money to fix my arms and a.though it's an occupational issue. Isn't a health issue so I believe I'm stuck with them unless I have some great luck with a lottery, in which case I should start buying tickets! Haha oh well......

B: decaf with pp and sf torani. Egg and bacon

L: turkey with lite cheddar in romain leaves

D: grilled chicken tenders with mozz and romaine and light dressing

Glad your son wasn't affected by the tornado! It came within a mile of my mom's apartment, and I've seen some pretty brutal pictures of the area. I know exactly the path it took, and somehow that makes it worse!

rain-wrapped tornadoes at night scare me the worst!

Yes, he sent pictures from Tulsa World that were really unbelievable. He said it popped up so fast the sirens never went off!

BTW, I'll be in Tulsa the first weekend of November if you're going to be around maybe we could meet up.

I'd love that! Obviously I have no idea where I'll be in November, let alone next weekend... but as it gets closer let's definitely try to meet up! I feel badly I couldn't do it last time!

Good morning everybody! It's a rainy day here just outside Philadelphia PA. I like it it's not as hot and kind of cozy.

I'm only a few months out from surgery but I'm pretty sure I won't have plastic surgery. Although I did look in the mirror yesterday and my face looks like it's melted!

B. Protein shake

L. Egg salad

S. Hummus

D. Zuke noodles with red sauce and meatballs ( probably just one)

I didn't have a chance to post yesterday...so here's one of my favorite quotations: "perfectionism is slow death."Just go for it! The world won't end if what you do...in my case writing... Isn't perfect. You have to try and there's always time to fine tune. If you wait around to do something until you think it's perfect you'll never get anything done mistakes are ok.

Have a nice day! Nancy

Good morning menu peeps!

I discovered chalkpaint this weekend! Had so much fun redoing 3 little tables in my living room. We picked out the paint colours too so should be able to start painting in 2 weeks. We are away this coming weekend. As InsertFitness mentioned, its a holiday here for most people. My husband has to work though. So I have a bigger cabinet to work on today and the kids are all heading out so I have time to work on that.

QOTD: I never thought I'd want plastic surgery and I will be okay if I don't have it but.... Not so thrilled with my arms or thighs. I can probably get a panni covered but so far my stomach isn't too bad- hard to tell as I'm still losing. My main concern though are the veins in my legs. Since I don't have to wait to finish losing for that, I'm going to talk to my dr about it the next time I go. Oh, I really don't like my turkey neck.

Menu:

Breakfast- leftover ham from yesterday and everything else is up in the air. No plans at all except maybe a protein shake for lunch.

Exercise- Shift Shop round 2 starts today.

Have a great day everyone!

The veins in my legs are awful, and sometimes I swear my calves are swollen... they just sometimes feel 'tight'... the insurance I have this year sucks, and nothing is covered until I hit that magical $3000 deductible... and I don't think I'm going to hit it this year... next year I will choose different insurance, and start to look into getting these veins worked on.

Chalk paint is different than chalkboard paint.:) You can paint just about anything with chalk paint and it comes in a ton of colours. No sanding before hand. It's pretty great stuff. The big name is Annie Sloan but it's pretty pricey. I bought the Americana Decor brand at Michaels with a 55% off coupon so it was pretty reasonably priced.
