What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?

Mornin' Monday peeps! It's rainy here, too. I love the rain and thunder. When I was a kid, my mom used to tell me that thunder was the angels bowling. It always made me laugh and made me calm down so that I wasn't frightened of the storm. Good times.
Yesterday was a rest day for me. I did my obligatory 45 minutes walking (I have to split it up into 2 walks--sucks having so little endurance) and then binge watched The Shooter series and Poldark with Mr. Fluffy. We're still eating the leftover grilled chicken that has no end and is a lot like the loaves and fishes--so dinner was easy peasy lemon squeezy. I tried Emmiepie's egg salad minus the bagel spice. I have to go hunt and gather for that! But holy moly, was it delish!
I woke up to another nice scale loss. I knew it was happening cuz I peed like a racehorse all afternoon! So maybe Emmiepie's egg salad is a magic diuretic!? I was so full and satisfied all day that I decided to have an exact repeat of it today. I'm in a little dilemma because normally, I would have skipped lunch because I was full from breakfast. But since I'm trying to follow the surgeon's orders and increase my cals incrementally until I get to 1000 cals, I feel like I don't have the autonomy to "eat to appetite." (Remember, I'm pre-surgery and had been eating 400-600 cals daily--and not losing very quickly, I might add. She wants me to be around 900-1000cals/daily pre-surgery so that I get a bigger "downward bounce" from the surgery. I have a little over one more week at 800 cals before moving them up to 900.)
QOTD: I think about success all the time now, and wonder what my body will look like after the fat vacates the premises. Inevitably my mind wanders/fantasizes about PS. I am so embarrassed by the lymphedema in my left arm and the difference in size between my two arms that there is no way I wear sleeveless or short sleeves in public. So my first bit of wishing is that I can somehow get a lymph node transplant and revascularization in my left arm that magically cures the lymphedema--and that they can do a bilateral brachioplasty because of it. While they're in there, I would love for them to spruce up the right side reconstruction and add a couple of nips so I don't have mannequin foobs any more. After that my mind wanders to a thigh and butt-master lift. :) I think I may be able to deal with the panni/tummy without help, but I'm so early in the journey, these are just fairytales and dreams. You know?

Kelly - I almost forgot to tell you, the Food Network show "The Kitchen" featured Everything But the Bagel spice on their show yesterday! You know how in Mexico you can get elote, which is corn on the cob rolled in mayo and cotija cheese and chili powder and lime? Well, they took corn on the cob and used a flat spatula to put a thin layer of whipped cream cheese on it, and rolled the corn in the bagel spice! I have to admit, that looks like a worthy summer treat!
Good Morning Janet and Menu Family!
QOTD: When I was young and stupid I had breast implants (so long ago they were the silicone ones, which my body didn't like). Removed those and put in the saline ones, which ruptured. Replaced those, they ruptured again! Finally I just gave up and had them removed. Now that I've lost weight I have nearly no boobs at all, but I don't want to try implants again and go through multiple surgeries due to ruptures. I always said I wouldn't bother having PS since I'm 61 years old, not looking for a significant other and also because of the expense. However my bat wings and my "melted candle" thighs really bother me. I would like to be able to go swimming but people would stare if I wore a swimsuit. So maybe I will reconsider and possibly have an arm lift and a thigh lift someday.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: lettuce, tomato, chicken, low cal dressing

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

Ok, I gotta ask, cuz I'm nosy that way!!! Where on earth are 104 carbs coming from in your menu? The pot roast? Inquiring minds and all, but your menu looks like it would be around 50g of carbs for the day including eating a few bites of potatoes and carrots in the pot roast?
