Hi OHers. Our weather is supposed to be in the mid 80's for the next couple of days... love the heat. Today is shopping and some food preparation for next week.

QOTH... I seem to frequently say to myself and others - you are your thoughts - not sure how well received it is...but it's truth...My other frequent saying = "it's a flea on your butt" meaning in the scheme of things/life it's just really not a big deal!

Good morning menu family.. Happy Sunday last night I ended up going out to dinner with my dad and then came home an binge watched TV shows only I like while working on some reports after going grocery shopping so I did all three of my possibilities. Today will be preparing for the week. I do know before I do my food prep for lunches I need to look at my meeting schedule because I am finding that I am throwing away lot of food because on meeting days they bring lunch in and I don't need to be doing that so much.

QOTD: When I was little my grandfather always used to say to me "You know only the good die young Penny Ann so I never have to worry about you!" (he passed away at age 54, so he was real good) Anyway, I always say that "Only the good die young" or "Only the good die young so I have nothing to worry about" But I also love quoting random movies as well.

Food for the day:
B: Some more of the big fatty breakfast meat fest.

L: hot dog

D: steak and salad

S: SF Popsicle

My grandfather, who I adored, always used to say "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach". This holds true for me still. I always take more than I can eat and eat it anyway!

QOTD: I've always loved this quote from one of Emily Dickensen's poems:

I also like the saying, "Not my circus, not my monkeys"

My favorite bible verse is Isaiah 40:31 "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

Accountability: Yikes, those darned Cheetos found me again last night. 21 cheetos are only 160 calories, but who can stop at only 21 little pieces! Not me! So my totals are higher today. Yesterday's totals: Protein - 56, Calories - 1,140, Carbs - 135.
