NSAID eyedrops
I know we shouldn't use NSAIDs but here's my question. My bypass was 8 years ago. I am having cataract surgery on October 5th. They prescribe NSAID eye drops, but said I can refuse them if I'm afraid to use them. They said the risk was very low but I wondered if anyone has any experience using them.
Don't know if you can still contact your bariatric office. I know when I've had discussions with my office about things like - if I ever had to take a steroid -as I'm asthmatic... they said I'd need to go on a PPI and then stay on it for a few weeks after the med was done.

I've been on this website almost daily since 2012 learning new things to store in my weak and feeble memory bank. Today, you taught me there is such a thing as a NSAID eye drop. If it helps any, people I know who have had cataract surgery report discomfort more so than pain; wishing you just that come October 5th.
