How exciting for Saralisa! Is it part of a tour or on her own? 19 days is a nice long time. I hope she has a blast!

Good morning Menu Family... Kind of dreary here so far today. I am off in a few to visit with the 91 year old gram for a bit. Both my dad and aunt (who live across the street and next door to her) are out of town and since I live next closest I volunteered to go over and bring in her paper and have coffee with her and just check on her. It could go two ways be a quick trip or be a two hour adventure depending on how chatty she is today. Either way is all good. Last weekend she went to Boston for the first time to visit my cousin who lives in Waltham and I have not heard about her trip so I am sure I will have hear all about it.... The rest of the day is usual chores. Tonight my husband is going to a concert with his buddies so I am home alone. I am trying to decide if I want to watch a movie, go shopping or go into the office and get some work done. It will be a game time decision for me.

QOTD: My mother in law stresses so much! We used to go to her house to eat so we could have a nice long visit and now we just go out because the thought of her having to cook for me causes her to much anxiety. Even though I have told her all you have to do is cook I can deal she is just can not handle it. She has always made these big four course dinners and the thought of me not eating all four courses I guess she just can't wrap her brain around. Oh well her loss since going to restaurant means we can't visit as long as she would like us to....

Food for the day:

B: A big fatty my brother made.. Bacon wrapped around sausage eggs and cheese looks good

L: yogurt and granola

D: not sure once I decide what my plan for the evening will be then I will decide.

Have a great day friends.....

I didn't realize you were in Quebec City! We stopped through there on our way home from Nova Scotia last year and I just loved it (minus the fact I do not speak French, but luckily my husband can passably). We live about 90 minutes south of Ottawa or 2 hours south of Montreal, but we've talked about going back and doing a vacation Quebec City without the kiddos!
