Purty babies Librarian and Duffman! So sorry to hear about Abby, but what a great story of Bethany. It's a sign! Sadly, no fur babies here although we would love them.
On another note. The scale is still jackin' with me and pullin' my chain. I threatened it with the shotgun, but heard no response. Well, if nothin' else, it's proving my point to the world/and the docs: that I gain weight on a 1200 calorie diet and to lose weight I have to be under 800 cals...#suckstobeme. I've no idea how the surgeon will respond to this actual proof. It is so weird how depressed I get when the scale does not cooperate. #sucksworsetobemrfluffy. But when the scale does move? Man...I'm on top of the world! Top of the friggin' world, baby! #lotterywinner.
QOTD: Did I mention I'm a tightwad? I'm so tight I squeak when I walk. I'm way too tight to get coffee at any of the trendy shops. Sometimes we will have "date night" for brekky and visit this little whole in the wall dive owned by a mom n' pop. They have hot, cheap breakfast and never ending cups of coffee. Woot! I'm a decaff HEB coffee or decaff Folger's girl. I'm also wayyyy tooo stingy with cals/carbs to put anything frivolous in my coffee, so I drink it black, unsweetened--unless it's Christmas or my birthday, then I will throw parsimony and caution to the wind and add some heavy cream. (Geeze, I must be a hoot at parties, right?
)

B: egg scramble (super greens, onion, rbp, heb light white cheddar cheese wedge, hillshire farms blk forest ham slice), decaff coffee
L: side salad (romaine, baby spinach, red/grn cabbage shreds, cucumbers, low fat feta, 3zeros dressing)
1/2 whole wheat low carb tortilla nuked til crispy with 2 tbsp Laura Scudder's Smooth Peanut Butter
D: l.o. grilled chickie boob, broccoli in evoo and garlic, avo/tomatoes

This week has been a month long...Sheesh! Only expecting 5 Short Peeps today, at scattered time, so shouldn't be any crazier around here, than usual...which leaves the "cray-cray-o-meter" wide open !!
QOTD: If meeting friends, we do SBX. Otherwise, I "coffee" at home, with my Keurig. I'm cheap, so I use the refillable, plastic K-cup. My DH says he always tell when I'm feeling "rich" - I'll be using REAL K-cups. I just hate spending all that money!

D: Going out--most likely grilled chicken/veggies
S: Probably none!

The Short Peeps I have, during the day, I get paid to hang with. I have had most of them all their short lives. For all intents and purposes, they are MINE, and I am their GiGi :). I have one granddaughter, Madilynn, who is 5, and I wouldn't keep her, all day, on a bet. She's too high maintenance. Only grandchild of 3 sets of grandparents!!
I am retired nurse, and somehow decided I needed a second "career". I never worked as hard, in my life, as I am working NOW. And I usually love it
