What's on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Happy Friday Everyone,
QOTD: I think I like coffee anywhere but my favorite is a local place "Cafe Tempo". I used to prefer Dunkin but after surgery I seem to like it stronger so I now like Starbucks as well. Basically if it's coffee, I'm there!! My drought me a Kerrigan for my birthday and I love using that as well.
B: decaf with pp and sf torani, turkey and Swiss roll with mustard.
L: grilled chicken with romaine and light dressing
D: sirloin and broccoli
S: left over grilled salmon.

Here are my pretty kitties. One was rescued from a barn and the other was found tossed in a dumpster as a kitten.

FRIDAY! One more day till my weekend starts!!! Today I have a little lull in my work schedule (which I'm kind of grateful for since it's been such a busy week) There's only two estheticians in the spa this week and I'm working everyone else's clients into my schedule when I have the tiniest bit of white space. Makes getting lunch in VERY hard though so I've been having to take a couple bite and then run to the next appointment and then go back and take a couple bites again between clients. At least it keeps me moving haha!
QOTD: I LOVE this local place we have called SteamDot. Their coffee is so rich and so smooth! Plus they also have a bajillion different ways to brew their grounds so it's always interesting. It's kind of a weekend spot for me to go because it's off the trail on my trip to work but it's so delish and I always feel like I'm getting a treat even though it's just a decaf americano. I usually go through SB and get an iced decaf doppio in a venti cup so I can add my vanilla or chocolate (still haven't tried caramel) premier protein shake to it. I found the idea on pinterest - It's like an iced latte and breakfast in one!!!!
Accountability: Stayed on track!.. Except three tiny pieces of xylitol chocolate again. Still below my carb and calorie counts though so at least there's that. ALSO I'm in the 150's now! in a few more pounds I will be the same weight I was when I was 14. So crazy to think about. Told my husband about how excited I was about this and he said "how do you remember your weight from that long ago?" and I told him that I've always been self conscious about my weight since 3rd grade (thanks school nurse lol) so it's always been a thing since then. NOT FOR MUCH LONGER THOUGH :-D
B - vanilla pp and decaf espresso
L - greek light and fit
D - turkey roll up
S - laughing cow wedges
S - something with more protein, not sure yet
V - patches
E - TBD, maybe my jillian michaels dvd
Have an awesome day! here's a pic of Zach and I at the bonfire bbq wedding last weekend and a pic of our dog babies

lol I was the opposite about my weight--I knew I was overweight, so I just avoided the scale. Never weighed myself. I have no idea what I weighed at any point before I was 25 or so. I do know that I've been a size 22 since before I graduated high school until a few months ago when 22 was getting hard to button. I can now comfortably button the 22s again, but can't WAIT to start losing more drastically.
