What's on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Might be your alternator... when weird things start happening with your electronic stuff, it's an indication that the alternator is going...
Have that checked too because it will make your battery look like it's dying.

Love all the photos of cats and dogs! And love the snapshots of people having fun!
My Siamese Mia turns 16 on October 1, as does her litter-mate sister. Mia has taken to yowling bloody murder now and then at night - I think it is because she went just about completely blind late last year, can't immediately locate us, and wants to know where we are. When I call her she comes, purring, but when she volume-yowls (as only a Siamese can), she could double as an air raid siren! She has also been yowling loudly as if in pain for the past 2-3 years when using her litter box. I have asked the vet about this several times, but he has never found a reason why she does this. But last night, her crying became desperately loud, and went on for longer than usual, so I went to check on her. She really seemed to be in distress, pacing about, returning multiple times to the litter box, trying to find relief, but finding none. Then I saw that she left a little bloody stain where she had sat down. I checked the litter area again, and there was a trail of little watery-bloody spatters all over. She was clearly in a good deal of distress. She calmed down after half an hour or so and was purring before long, thank goodness. If she hadn't I would have hunted up an all-night emergency animal hospital. My vet opens up at 7:30ish, and I will bring her in. I really hope that it is something which can be simply and swiftly cured! Seeing an animal you love in pain is the worst.
Over the past 2 days, the Buddig deli meat I've been eating has started to gross me out. The only food that I think tastes good right now is cheddar cheese! But I do not want to eat just that! SF popsicles are good too, but I stopped buying them because I was having more than I should have. Maybe I will buy some more today, until something else appeals. So today aside from a little cheddar, I will just have 3 Protein shakes.

I forgot the QOTD: I love coffee, but have not yet been cleared to drink it, not even decaf. Miss it! I like a local little place, I like the coffee I make at home, I like Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and I like Starbucks as long as it is milky and sweet - black, SB coffee always tastes way too burnt to me. I love iced coffee all year round,
I hope that Mia is on the mend quickly. It is so difficult when they are in pain!
