What's on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Well, we made it to Friday again folks! What do you have planned for the weekend? For me, I just found out that we have overtime for the next month, so I will be doing less R & R and more OT. Fortunately, I can do it by telework so I don't have to drive into the city and sit in my office for the weekend.
Also in good news, the scale is moving and I am below 150 this morning...149.8. I didn't think that I would ever get to this weight, so I am pleasantly surprised.
Edited to add the QOTD: Where is your favorite "coffee" shop? Are you a Dunkin' Donuts fan, Starbucks all the way, or only something small and local? I have to say that I like small and local places best, but we have our weekly knitting group in SB's so I frequent them most often.
I'm including a picture of another of my cats, Purl. She is the Queen of the House even though she is the smallest of my cats. We have 5 cats total and that certainly makes us Crazy Cat Ladies!

She is a standard Poodle.
I have to tell you the story of Bethany.
Prior to Bethany we had a Standard named Abby , she developed lymphoma and we had her treated for 7 months I would drop her off in the morning to a young oncologist that would bring her to the vet ( saving me an hour drive 3 x times a week). Abby went into remission and then developed symptoms again, this time the treatments did not work and we had lay her to rest. We were devestated as was the vet office and the oncologist, etc.
We decided we needed to find another standard puppy, found a breeeder, looked at photos and videos and chose Bethany , ( Not knowing her name).
Here is where it gets surreal.......the Oncologist that used to pick Abby up in the morning....Her name is Bethany.
This poodle was meant to be in our lives....
I believe that our fur kids come often come into our lives for amazing reasons. I love Standards!
When I retire, we want to get a Standard or a Standard mix like a Labradoodle or Golden Doodle.
