Good luck on the jury duty, Kelly! I hope you don't have to do it.

Thanks! It's been difficult this week to not be able to plan my work week because I don't know until after 5p each night if I have to go in or not. I think we can be "on-call" for a week so we shall see :)

I forgot how much I like edamame! How do you like to eat yours?

I prefer the shells on them...I put them in the microwave in water until they float, drain, sprinkle with a little salt and then chow down. I also love edamame hummus....yum

Ugh. 106 degrees here yesterday and 107 forecasted for today. I am so over this heat wave. Plus we have smoke from the forest fires in B.C., so breathing the air is also not recommended. That will be a challenge.

Stay indoors as much as possible and of course stay hydrated. It's so gloomy out too...like looking out the window you'd think it was going to rain but once you go outside all you feel is intense heat. Makes me a little grumpy.

I hope that one day in my future I'll be able to run six miles in a morning and still have the ability to form a complete sentence, let alone pack a lunch and go to work!

Last night I ran 3.5 miles on an indoor track due to weather. One walker passed me several times, yeah LAPPED ME several times... After my run and cool down walk, and a shower, I was barely able to dress myself and drive home!

you are AMAZING!!!
