Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve. No jury duty for me yet...have to call again tonight after 5p. It's another HOT day here-I wish I could send you some sun...but it's not a pretty sun it's just HOT.HOT.HOT when I got in my car last night the temp read 117 degrees.
QOTD: Drinking my water and taking vitamins-just part of my habits now.
Accountability: I stayed on plan and only added a few strawberries and a little bit of fiber cereal when I was packing my lunch.
Time since surgery: 2 years, 11 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: SF latte, homemade Greek yogurt with strawberries and ¼ cup bran cereal, 2 Brazil nuts and Buddig corned beef pack and SF popsicle when I get home
D: Sweet Italian chicken sausage from Costco, edamame, light string cheese and SF banana pudding made with Fairlife topped with cool-whip
E: Ran 6 miles this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track

You are moving at lunch, that is what counts. I walk at lunch inside the plant as I do not want to sweat too much and because my son is working here for the summer and likes to eat his lunch at my desk. ( spoiled)...LOL

I joined a beautiful fitness center this week, and my company will comp the the entire cost if I visit it about 2/week. I'm only in town M-R so I need to really make sure I get there. One of the tricks I'm going to employ next week is to sleep in my workout clothes so that when my alarm goes off I'm already dressed. Generally workout clothes are pretty comfy... My rule is that I have to go downstairs, put on my sneakers and walk to the car. If at that point I really want to go back to bed I can. I did this several years ago and 95% of the time once I was tagging the car door handle, I would go ahead and get in and go. Monday and Wednesday I plan to go in mornings for weights, then evenings to swim run and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll ride my bike to work. On rainy days "bike days" I'll use the indoor bikes in the mornings instead of biking to the office. Maybe by October I'll be riding my bike to the office all four days! That would be pretty awesome.
