What's on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Good morning all of you lovely people. It is going to be another crazy hot day today with a forecasted 107 degrees. Plus, our air quality is terrible with tons of smoke in the air from the British Columbia forest fires. Health officials are recommending that we don't breathe the air. I am still trying to figure out how to comply with that one.
I am going to Seattle tomorrow for the weekend. It's SeaFair weekend, plus it's a little cooler. A float trip and/ or zip lining might be on the agenda. I'm staying with my friend who is 6 months post RNY, so no fears about staying on plan. We used to eat together, and now we don't eat together.
QOTD: there are so many things that are second nature now, such as weighing daily, measuring and weighing food, logging every bite, prepping low carb food so it is ready to go and easy to make good choices, and taking supplements. I still struggle with separating eating and drinking and nailing down a consistent exercise routine, particularly since I've been cleared since plastics. It has only been 2 weeks, but still... Not good.
Speaking of plastics, my second round ( arms and breasts) have been scheduled for 10/2. Yippee!
2 years, 9 months post op. 140 pounds this morning (darned water retention. CAMAD today to knock it out):

Hello all.... A little late today. I am off from work today but man I have been busy busy busy. Right now I am hanging out while the furnace is getting cleaned so a perfect time to pop in and say "HI". It is a beautiful day here today in the 802 they say it is going to rain but I hope it holds off until I get done with my other errands...
QOTD: Healthy habit that has become easy for me? Hum I think for me taking the stairs and not the elevator as well as parking as far away from the door as possible unless it is raining can't do that in the rain I will melt you know!

I too park very far away, both at work and any random parking lot I'm in. Drives my kids crazy when they are with me, but Oh Well! Plus it keeps my car in better shape with less dings from other idiot people that don't care!

I'm cramp-y and cranky today. Doing interviews and an the candidates are getting on my nerves. I don't want to adult today!
QOTD: healthy habit that has become easy... I feel like that's an oxymoron! Any I think of I can also immediately think of a struggle I have with that habit. Carrying my water bottle everywhere is probably my most brainless, automated, part of my life now habit. It comes everywhere with me. Sine I carry it that means I'm drinking it- so I guess drinking water :-)
