OMG I have hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, and pickles in the fridge - PLUS everything but the bagel spice in the cupboard. I am making this concoction! It sounds incredible. You don't miss the mayonnaise? I have to try this!

I always eat 'whole eggs'... but that's just me. I couldn't imagine egg salad without the yolks... not in my house!

Yes I do, I usually need the fat (my skin dries out horribly if I do not get enough fat).

I noticed that same thing. My arms, thighs and the outsides of knees start to itch.

Good morning Teena and Menu family!

Accountability: Yesterday was crazy with work and life so I ended up missing lunch and dinner and my total intake was just my morning protein shake and my bedtime/post exercise protein drink, plus a coffee mid morning. Here is the updated macros- Total Calories: 400, Protein: 71, Carbs: 10, Sugar: 2, Fat: 9

QOTD: Logging is a tool I learned when I lost a significant amount of weight in 2010. I have continued to log since then. The new thing I'm noticing is my ability to run a mile. I ran 3.5 miles last night and the worst part was the boredom (thunder storm forced me to run inside and I didn't have headphones). I've never in my life been able to easily run a mile. Granted I'm running slower than most of you walk (in fact a walker lapped me multiple time on the indoor track!) but I am technically running! I'm also getting very comfortable measuring my food. I prefer to use the scale so I don't need to dirty two items like a measuring up plus my bowl... Lately I've been eye balling it, then weighing, just to see how close I can get to estimating the right amount.

4 mo post RNY/163 lbs/ Weight-loss Stage

B- 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese mixed with 1/2 scoop elevation chocolate protein powder

MS- half a skinny mocha (wtf- what is "skinny" about 200 calorie!!!)

L- (Cherry Greek Yogurt if even a little hungry - doubt I'll have room post coffee)

AS- nothing

D- Black bean tacos in cabbage leaves, 3.5 oz red wine

ES- nada!

Total Calories: 751, Protein: 64, Carbs: 78 (wow black beans are HIGH in carbs!!!), Sugar: 19, Fat: 14

Looking at the macros above, it would probably be worth my time to switch out the black beans for ground venison (which needs to be thawed out etc). Next year I may try canning some ground venison so I can have an easy go to on nights like tonight.

Exercise: Not much... Today I didn't ride into work mostly due to the threat of thunder storms and my anxiety about getting out of work and back up to NE Ohio in time to make dinner. This second part is actually pretty weak because due to excessive traffic, it only takes me 15 minutes longer to bike to work than it does to drive to work. It's clear that I'm not very rational in the mornings. Rain won't melt me, Most of the bike trail is in woods so I'm not a primary target for lightening, and if it's raining after work I could always take the bus home (all have bike racks) for only $2. I need to figure out how to shut down my lazy morning excuses!!! Monday I developed a big ol' blister on my left heal that opened up, and it's still very tender even with a band-aid covering it, so the only exercise I'll be getting in today is from my under-desk elliptical machine. I don't count that in my exercise log because it's really more like just "activity" rather than calorie burning "work".
