The musings of an Eighth Grader... or whatever you want to call me.
You stole my words, Liz!
Thanks, Grim... I use cruise control in the city as much as I can... I need to incorporate that into my life as well!

OMG Pamela! It's as if you can read my mind: I have the same thoughts but can't express them as eloquently as you!

I agree Pammie anne about listening to the vets, I learned from them by listening to responses to others posts. When some one is several years out from surgery and has great wisdom and advice I respect them and try and learn from it. You are right, the further out you are the harder it gets. I never take for granted that I have maintanance all figured out, I take it day by day and so far I have kept off the all the weight I have lost -but you are right this **** isn't easy - especially over 3 1/2 + years out ... IMHO I do not consider myself an elementary school kid , I am a grown adult who is taking responsibility for the fact I know what I need to do to maintain my weight loss- agree with you- not easy but am trying to make better food choices each day. IMHO I think that is a big part of what maintanance is.. I am happy for your success and wish you the best.
Susie
At 3.5 years out, you are definitely not the elementary school kid... You're a Junior in high school!
I don't know that I'll ever be a grown adult... in so many aspects of my life... sigh.
