Surgery consult scheduled!!!!!

August 11th- I jumped at the first available so I didn't lose my determination. I'm going to very busy trying to absorb all of the advice in everyone's posts. Excited, nervous... another step in this journey to a new lifestyle!!

Congrats on your date! It is normal to feel nervous, as well as excited. Just stay busy and keep reading.

Have questions written down somewhere. That's my best advice for meeting with your surgeon.

Great advice. I have some questions, but are there any that you would suggest asking at the appointment having gone through this?

Well I didn't really know which procedure I was going to have until I had my endoscopy done so the focus was on the advantages/disadvantages of one vs the other.

I think I had 3 consults and attended a seminar with him prior to surgery. Probably spent more time talking with him than with every other doctor I've ever seen.
