What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
On the late train...but I am posting anyway.
QOTD: Yes always scour the clearance racks... Love Gap outlet and Old Navy for jeans as they have talls.... also NY and Co runs great sales and I can get dress pants in talls there.
Then of course there was Hawaii and Paris this year...so not everything was a bargain. But can I tell you I got some great buys in France. There was a lingerie store where I got these awesome bras for about $17 us dollars and underwear 3 for $12. Unfortunately they only had 2 bras I could find in my size... and they don't ship across the pond to us...The French know their fashion and their cheap fashion isn't anything like target or walmart.... amazing.
BTW Maryann I still haven't worn the red romper :(
Had a good day yesterday with food, went shopping and did food prep did three solid healthy meals, yay!
Woke up this AM and ate a low carb chocolate mug cake for breakfast after having one last night for 'snack' They are low calorie and all but I am having a problem saying no to them...and I eat them with some vanilla yogurt for 'frosting' Obsessed not in a good way. Addicted would be a better term.
B: Latte with fairlife/mct oil Low carb Chocolate mug cake and 1/2 c yogurt, peanuts
L: Steak, spinach
D: Chicken tikki masala with either cauliflower rice or zoodles
S: protein hot chocolate, Starbucks Passion tango ice tea with coconut milk (new obsession)
EX: PT, Pool

Good morning!
Today's my Monday (as always) and I'm having a hard time with my emotions still. I woke up and the first thought I had about work was "I don't want to go".. I have been feeling really stressed and anxious about going in for the last three weeks. I don't get it. I love what I do and I love my coworkers but for some reason I feel sad, scared, worried etc about every first day back after my days off. What the heck?!
I'm still trying to get my excess weight off so I've been putting off shopping for new stuff and pretty much just working my way back through my "skinny clothes" they're getting to big now though haha. Sometimes I'll pick up a random cute top at target and most days I wear black leggings because they're easy and that's part of our work dress code.. Even my leggings are getting too big, they worked for awhile because of the stretch but I think it might be time to give in and get some smaller sizes.. Oh darn haha!
B: vanilla pp
L: Greek light and fit yogurt
D: probaby another boring turkey roll up.. getting kind of tired of them but nothing sounds good anyway so I'll stick to that.
S: laughing cow cheese wedge
V: patches
E: going to the gym tonight with Zach after work
Hope everyone is having a good day so far :)

Hi Mandi, just a thought ***insert boilerplate newbie disclaimer***, but when was the last time you had all your bloodwork checked including vitamin levels? Reason I ask is that B1 deficiency is common among WLS patients (along with other
B vitamins) and low levels can cause significant emotional challenges along with anxiety. I see you're on the patch and seem to remember some VET discussing that YMMV might be the case with vitamin patches? Just thinking out loud here...cheers!

I had my blood work done again back in the very beginning of July and never heard back from my surgeon. I called his office yesterday and they said that I must've fallen through the cracks but that they did get my results out and they'd have him look them over. Starting to feel like I'm the patient that keeps falling through the cracks haha. Hopefully I'll hear back today how everything is as far as levels are concerned. I imagine I am probably low on B vitamins. Even before WLS that had been an issue at one point or another.
probably a stupid question but what does YMMV stand for?
Thanks :)
