Good morning Menu folks.

*** Edited to add QOTD -I missed it.

My wife and I are a dangerous combination as I also love to shop and to find bargains. I love when we are in Florida visiting my folks and we can hit the Bealls outlets and Ross as we do not have either close to us. I always score some big finds and usually score some Tommy Bahama clothes for less than 50% of retail. Love it. LOL

B - 2 eggs scrambled

S - Caramel Apple Pie greek yogurt

L- left over grilled siroin

S - Buddig meat

D - Burger with pepperjack cheese and no bun

Good morning menu friends -

Quick post while on my last break of the day.

Accountability: Once again I did not eat my tuna pouch - I think I am giving it a complex - I better eat it later to day. I did end up drinking a whole protein shake with my coffee for the night though so stats are not that much different than I had planned.

QOTD : I am bargain shopping at thrift stores and shopping on clearance racks. I don't think I have paid full price for anything with the exception of under garments for several months.

Todays menu:

Breakfast - 1/3 protein shake with iced coffee, SF Creamer, tuna pouch

Lunch - Mock Spanish rice

Dinner - Shrimp w/ ****tail sauce, Spinach salad

Snack - Smoked Salmon, Yellow Squash

Calories - 614, Protein - 98, Carbs - 32

Have a great day everyone!!

I just ordered (new - I do have a few standards) undergarments from China via eBay LOL! I figure they'll be poorly built but as I'm in the weight loss stage they should only need to last a couple of months. I don't know if you read my post a couple of weeks ago, but I actually "walked out" of a pair of black lace undergarments while walking from my car to the parking garage elevator. There were witnesses. Still cringing...

That happened to me once when hugely pregnant! I had evidently stretched the elastic in my underpants to the point of no return. They'd given all they had to give, and could give no more! I was halfway through the parking lot when I felt them begin to slide down my thighs. I knew I couldn't make it back to my car before disaster struck, so I kept my arms and hands glued to my sides and took really big steps in an effort to delay the inevitable. I had intended to go to grocery shopping, but there was a corner liquor store which was closer. I walked in and ducked behind an aisle as my pants came slithering down! I picked them up, stuffed them in my bag, and exited - never to return!

Definitely a bargain shopper - "Clarence" aka clearance is my best friend. When I was a size 26-28 I usually had to pay full price in order to find anything to fit. Now that I'm a 6-8 I can be a lot more choosy. I haven't bought anything in quite a while since I had a whole wardrobe of small sizes from the last time I lost weight - only got to wear them for a few months back then because as soon as I lost the weight, I almost immediately started putting it back on. I'm hoping/praying/working on it - that this will be much different. I may need to get a few things for Fall/Winter when it's time to switch over - I need to take inventory in about a month. I've become much more practical with age and refuse to spend the money if it's not necessary (even though I do love to clothes shop now).

B: protein coffee

L: Left over 1/2 portion of Olive Garden Cod Picatta

S: Premier Protein Orange Mango Clear (can't wait until these are gone - they start out tasting good to me but then leave an awful aftertaste)

D: Steak, zucchini

E: Not today - had a really hard time getting out of bed so will use this as my day off. May try to take a short walk at lunch.
