Maybe my expectations are too high?

What she said. It is just THE THREE WEEK stall. Stick with your plan and you will start losing again in a few weeks.

I am a revision (Lap Band to RNY, May 16)

I have lost 38.9lbs since May. 2 - I started at 235.5 - I am very happy with that even though it might seem slow.

You didn't start at a significantly higher weight, so that also could be contributing to your weight loss patterns.

I just tell myself that at least I am losing, whereas before, I was not.

I had it happen too! Make sure your Protein is up there as your body needs it to continue to heal, get your liquids in and all the sudden you'll get a drop. See my signature for my loss rate as a 35 BMI patient. Mine is a little sadder than most possibly due to my ramping up my workouts but more than likely because I'm just eating too many calories.

After the first month, every month I'm like "OMG I'm not going to lose any weight this month, or maybe just a pound or two... I have plateaus all. the. time. But like the month of July, tiny bit, nothing, nothing, nothing... five pounds. My biggest challenge is getting in the water/liquids. I fail at that big time. I understand from those in the know, that this is restricting losses.

100 % agree with what everyone has said!!

Measure and track and drink liquids, and repeat. I've had weeks and weeks where I wanted to throw both the food scale and the body weight scale out the fn window, but I trudged along, following the advice of the veterans. Weight loss WILL happen!!!

I stalled out for 3 weeks about a month in. Thought I was going crazy because I was literally eating so little. It passed and there were days I dropped 3lbs over night.

I'm not a revision but I stall every 10lbs? Was told to measure instead of weighing so often. Yep! Loosing inches while shuffling weight from building muscle. Nice to see when they both move.
