QOTD: I do love Syntrax Fuzzy navel. It is the only one I found I like in water plus makes an awesome Orange Julius. I also love Syntrax matrix mint cookie. Fit frappe Mocha (coffee) and their chai latte. There is a brand called Combat I've been using lately as well. Originally bought the cookies and cream flavor at Costco. I am not particularly fond of cookies and cream, so I returned it. But then I happen to find it on sale at GNC. They have more than one type I buy the one that has the digestive enzymes in it as well.
Accountability: I have all these great plans of making real food, I don't know if it's just because of summer... But I feel like I'm snacking eating cheese and pepperoni and drinking protein drinks. My weight is fine so it's not a matter of over eating, it's just mentally feels that way. And then there is the eating healthy part as opposed to smacking
B: latte fairlife/mct oil eggbeaters bacon lite mozzarella
L: Cobb salad- turkey HB egg bacon cheese
D: steak, mushrooms and onions
S: emiepie eggsalad, protein drink tbd. - Carbquik chocolate mug cake with yogurt
I feel like this is a fantasy menu. Some if it will happen some won't. I'm being honest. The chocolate mug cake will happen. Being honest there too. If I don't feel like cooking more protein drinks will happen
ex: pool, gym

Good morning Teena, Librarian, and our lovely menu family!
QOTD T- It's been warm and soggy here in Central Ohio, with lots of extra blood sucking insects thanks to our overly mild winter :( But as it's Ohio, you only need to wait an hour or two for the weather to change up!
QOTD L- I have the powdered Nectar 'Roadside Lemonade' here in the office and I really like it! I usually mix it with water, but it also works great in plain yogurt and cottage cheese. I buy a 12 pk of 12 oz. cans of Pure Protein Frosty Chocolate Shake from Amazon (subscription so I get a 12pk every two weeks). I like these cans for post workout recovery drinks and it's the only chocolate RTD I actually enjoy. Generally I find all the flavored protein WAY (or should I say WHEY) too SWEET!!!
Accountability: I skipped dinner to work out, and only had my recovery RTD protein shake. That resulted in Total Calories: 330, Protein: 64, Carbs: 13.
Yesterday was weird. I started my day early to see a prospective rental at 7am, so I ate my yogurt at the office, then I had a package of tuna for a late lunch after looking at another rental during lunch. The lunch time trip resulted in a very deep blister on my heel (new shoes) and as a side note OMG LIQUID BANDAGE ON AN OPEN BLISTER IS EFFING PAINFUL!!!!!! After work, liquid bandage and regular bandage in place, I walked to a third rental, then back to my office. At this point I had about 9000 steps in for the day. I drove to the fancy rec center where I just got a membership (work pays us back the cost of membership if we go twice a week!!!). I swam laps using a snorkel because I just can't suck in enough air to keep going otherwise, but even with this cheat, I was still stopping at the end of each length and panting... So I gave up after 15 minutes, enjoyed 15 minutes in the sauna, showered, changed into running shorts and a tee and went for a walk then 2.5 mile slow run on the outdoor nature walk trac****il dark. After my cool down walk I was over 20K steps :) When I got home I sat in my car while my phone charged and enjoyed the AC, then went inside, rinsed off in the shower, drank my RTD shake and fell into bed. I was hurting from my workout and I didn't get to sleep for a few hours which sucks because if I'd KNOWN I would be awake, I would have caught up on Game of Thrones!
4 mo. post RNY/ 163lbs/ Weight-loss stage
B- Pure Protein Frosty chocolate shake
MS- half a banana
L- Fit & Light Danon cherry yogurt
AS- nothing counted, but if I feel weak after my bike ride home I'll drink another 170 calories in a RTD protein shake...
D- Indian style butter chicken, 1 3.5 oz. pour of red wine
ES- SF jello
Total Calories: 782, Protein: 86, Carbs: 40, Sugar: 22, Fat: 24
Exercise: I rode my bike to work, and I'm planning on riding it back home again although after last nights exercise extravaganza... I might just catch the bus home! My NUT thinks that my general fatigue is cause by not providing my body with the level of nutrition needed for my workouts, so if I still feel like crap when I get home, I'll drink a protein shake while I make dinner.

Gonna post my menu in the other thread, but came to answer this QOTD. I did DH's liquid diet alongside him and didn't have much time to research and prepare. Once our insurance approved his surgery was scheduled barely more than 2 weeks out, so we just grabbed some Premier Protein at Costco in banana cream and vanilla and some vanilla muscle milk whey powder. Got SO burned out on those flavors. I don't really go for sweets to begin with, but I was DYING for savory. Luckily I have discovered Unjury Chicken Soup, BariWise cream soups, and hoping to order a variety pack of Syntrax nectars to try. I don't mind flavored water kind of drinks but the creamy shakes I'll have to choke down. We still have half a big bag of the muscle milk and I can't bear to waste it!
