Never been to the spam musuem myself. It is on the bucket list.

I will try to contact my MN mafia connections (they are a bunch of Swedes) to see if we can rectify the SPAM Bank situation.

I have seen that one! I believe seeing 1) Jalepeno and 2) Pineapple one's at my Korean Grocer (HMart). One day, I am going to go wild and buy a can of each. Then I will have to research the internet to find out what to make with them!!

Good Morning! I didn't have to report to jury duty today, still on call and have to check back in today after 5 to see about tomorrow.

QOTD: We are on a triple digit streak but it's what we expect this time of year in the Valley. We have enjoyed a few day trips and of course celebrating hubby's birthday was a blast. D: Sweet Italian chicken sausage from Costco, edamame, ¼ cup cottage cheese and SF banana pudding made with Fairlife and a SF popsicle

Tuesday!!! Yay for no longer being a Monday...

We are having rain today... it's like a freak of nature to see water falling from the sky... it's been too long, and everything here (except for some really resistant weeds) is yellow! Boo! One (another of many) of the things I don't like about this state I'm living in... The high will barely reach 80 today. I'm a heat lover this summer, and while we've had a couple of days over 100, most of them have been in the mid 90's, and I'll take it! I'm NOT looking forward to it cooling off anytime soon...

Accountability: My menu plan kind of went out the window because I ended up being invited to lunch. To a pizza place of all places! I did well (for pizza) and had part of a small salad and two pieces of toppings only (all meat). Dinner was a turkey tenderloin and cauliflower... and while I did have my latte, I also had about 20 pistachios and 5-6 pork rinds... overall, I'm not unhappy with that, and I can feel the uncontrollable urges passing again FINALLY -- I do wonder if this is hormone related.

B: 24 ounces of decaf with Fairlife and SF Syrup

B2: 2.5 ounces of ham and 1.3 ounces of swiss cheese

L: Planning on those meatballs I never ate yesterday

S: Cheese stick if I need it

D: Looks like hubby is taking over dinner for now, so he's making smothered steak and veggies for dinner (I'll measure out 3.5 ounces of the steak and have a few veggies with it)

(Have I mentioned that it's killing me to give over dinner control?! Am I EVER Happy?!) Hahaha

S: Going for the latte again, and if I need a snack, I'll pick something similar to last night

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!

QOTD: I've had a nice, relaxing summer so far. I've been taking Blossom for a walk every day. I love summer! I do not like winter's dark days and dread winter coming. My daughter is about to go on a trip to Ireland with a friend of hers for 2 weeks in August. I will miss her while she is gone.

QOTD Librarian's: I only have vanilla protein powder. I have not tried any other flavors.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: Birdseye Voila chicken stir fry

D: hamburger patty with melted cheese, corn on cob

S: light & fit Greek yogurt

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

Good morning :)

Lots of running around today. I was supposed to have an appointment at the bank yesterday but the person didn't show up, so I will try again today. We are going to a wedding on Friday so I will be getting their gift together today. I'm leaving for a work trip next week and I just don't feel prepared. Usually I have lists and maps and everything ready to go.

QOTD: summer here has been weird. Between the weather, weddings, and trips it has been up and down every week. We were in Northern Ontario last week and it was too cold to go swimming in the lake. That is very unusual for this time of year. But the cool days and rain are keeping the lakes cold.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - turkey sausage

Lunch - chicken and beans

Snack - pepperette

Dinner - unknown restaurant

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.
