Good morning :)

Finally back in the land of wifi. I ran out of data about three days into our trip lol. Today I have a ton of errands to do to catch up from being away. I have a work trip next week and a wedding this coming weekend, so lots to do!!

QOTD: I'm not really an outdoorsy person. I've been camping a few times and like to go hiking, but I don't think I've ever been to a national or provincial park. We have a large river watershed system around here with a large conservation authority that manages the river and local parks/camps. I have been to quite a few of those parks with my family.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - turkey sausage

Lunch - chicken and cauliflower

Snack - turkey pepperette

Dinner - chicken and veggies

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

Morning Menu Peeps!

QOTD: I'm not sure which parks I've been to that are National, versus State Parks... I admit to not visiting places like that very often.

So I'll start off by saying it was a tough weekend for me... I had a battle with some honey roasted peanuts and a twix bar (although, it was only the left one, Ha)... and not that it was the end of the world, but I have to tell you the hardest part was where my mind was while I was devouring said snacks... It felt impulsive, out of control, like a druggie meeting someone on the corner to get his next fix of Meth. It sent me into a tailspin and made me feel badly about myself... I didn't like it one bit! I have issues with food, and I really need to talk more with my therapist about this.

I did recover, and aside from 1/2 of a biscuit for breakfast yesterday, the rest of the weekend was OK.

Reset. Packed extra 'approved' foods because I figure if I go off on a bender again, it's going to be with meat, and NOT twix bars!

B: Starting off with my coffee

The rest of the day will be filled with the following... measured out meatballs, stuffed with cheese, 3.5 ounces... chicken crack, 3.5 ounces, a P3 pack, cheese sticks... I will eat what I need to, to stay on course, and not feel guilty about having a little extra if I need to.

Dinner is something that hubby is cooking that includes a variety of veggies and chicken - one of his friends posted this, and he's excited (and feeling better), and wants to make dinner. I'll measure out 3 ounces of the meat and have a few veggies...

Snack: I will have my latte in the evening... I really think that getting out of my routine over the last few weeks is contributing to my cravings, so I'm working harder at making that latte at night this week!

Weight this morning was 138.0.

I have decided that I want to definitely lose 5 more lbs... so in the next couple of days (once the cravings subside), I will look at doing CAMAW (with very little C), and keeping my calorie intake to around 800 ... but first I'm giving myself permission to eat a little extra, but only in the way of low carb, on plan stuff. I've been craving too much for too long. Time to wash that **** out of my brain!

Get out of my head!!! I was sitting here, thinking "I've been to lots of parks"...then thought "No, wait...those are TEXAS parks...that makes them STATE parks"...You are way too young and sweet to be in my head, my Sister, from another Mister :)

Can you please tell me what this "chicken crack" is, sounds interesting and I would like to try it. Chicken is a favourite of my new pouch.

Thanks in advance.

So, bear in mind it's not the lowest calorie thing you can make, and with being only 2 months out, might want to limit it to a small serving, but here's how I make it (some add different things)...

3 chicken breasts

1 package of hidden valley ranch seasoning (I used the spicy one)

1 8 ounce cream cheese (some use the greek yogurt cream cheese for more protein/ less fat)

1 can rotel tomatoes

1C of grated cheese (I use Monterrey jack or cheddar)

6 slices of bacon, fried crisp and crumbled (OK... you can use as much bacon as you want, but I cook a pound and then fight off my family to grab those slices for my meal)

I add some cayenne and black pepper, and garlic, but this it totally optional (we like it spicy around my house)

You can do this in the instant pot, but I prefer my slow cooker... (I'm the weirdo that doesn't love her IP)

Throw in chicken, seasoning packet, rotel tomatoes, spices and cook all day

Once done, shred chicken and mix in the cream cheese (I bring it to room temperature so it doesn't break down as easily), bacon, and throw in your grated cheese... mix well... and more importantly MEASURE WELL... because you will want to eat more than you should... it's really yummy stuff!

This feeds my family dinner, and then I portion out probably 8 more servings for me that I freeze... it reheats beautifully!
