What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers?
Morning!
Well, we got everything moved into the new office space. it's going to be a big couple of days ahead to get everything put away, but it went very smoothly!
this morning, I will drink coffee, catch up on some internets, and then head down town to check out La Machine. It's a giant moving art/theater piece with a giant spider and dragon taking over the city. I'll post pics if I get any decent ones! Here's a link to an article:http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/la-machine-day-3-saturd ay-pictures-video-1.4227906
qotd: if money were no object, how would you spend your Sunday? Unless I was at the lake house, or in Italy, I suspect mine would be similar today, except my coffee would be from a much fancier machine, and I'd be drinking it in my elaborate and well maintained garden in the back yard. and my trip downtown would be from a fancier neighborhood...although from what I've heard of the crowds, it would prob still be by bus....
unless I had a penthouse in the city centre.... and I definitely wouldn't need to make time to do laundry today...
accountability: meh. I guess It was on plan, and under my calories, but only because I was so busy I didn't eat until 4pm. It was some leftover pork chop. Then around 8, we ordered Indian, and I made some cauli rice.
Menu:
B: coffee and premier protein
L: an October fest sausage from the local butchery.
D: tbd on what happens downtown. If we're home, leftover takeout.
Off to catch up on posts now! Have a great Sunday!

Good morning - happy Sunday! I hate that the weekend goes by so fast. I'm glad your move went smoothly.
QOTD: If money were no object the only thing that I think would be different is that I would look directly out onto a body of water from my windows instead of seeing peeks through the trees. I'd still have to deal with the bills this morning and would probably still go to the beach today (though maybe the beach would be just outside my door?)
16 months post-op, 8 months in maintenance.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: leftover burger and grilled veggies
S: nut thins and hummus, yogurt

Thanks! It's nice to have it off my shoulders. I'll feel even better once everything is put away haha

Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!
QOTD: If money were no object I'd probably be sitting in a much bigger house surrounded by a whole lot of rescued dogs, cats and other pets. Maybe even some kind-hearted staff to help me take care of all of the rescued pets, too. While we're dreaming let's put this pet paradise in a beautiful setting, too, with green fields for them to run in and a lake and flowers and trees.
Accountability: Protein - 68, Calories - 1, 120, Carbs - 117.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: squash & tomatoes, corn on cob, hamburger patty w/ melted cheese
D: hamburger patty w/ melted cheese
S: light & fit Greek yogurt
E: walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a fantastic day everyone!

Good morning menu peeps. Missed posting yesterday as I was just too busy. We had a cowboy shoot yesterday. I'll post a picture of the outfit I wore here. Today is church, laundry and loading up the camper to head to the local state park. I'll probably be missing til Wednesday afternoon. I plan on hiking and doing some reading and relaxing. Accountability was good with no extra bites yesterday. Post op 4 years 11 months and weight at 118 today. QOTD if money was no object I'd get a class A RV--the bus type and live in it. Then I could wake up every morning where ever I wanted to be that day and see all the sights on my bucket list too. Lily and I have our 3.5 miles on and I'm walking to church for another mile too. Probably do a short walk at Beaver Dam this evening too. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L egg salad 1/2 c and 3 tomato slices D 31/2 oz strip steak with mushrooms S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!
Great idea: those bus RVs are sweet!

Today I also plan to start Bloody Mary asparagus. I have a presentation that I am doing about pickles in a few weeks, so I am getting my supplies ready.
Breakfast: 2 ounces ham
Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake
Lunch: TJ's sundried tomato chicken sausage
Snack: string cheese
Dinner: filet mignon, cauliflower

I've only just started pickling! I love gardening, so I figured I may as well preserve some of it. I wish I had a pressure canner, but for now I just do water bath canning. Do you have recipes for your pickles? My dills came out WAY too salty (followed a recipe online), and I don't know If I can eat them. My spears were also super mushy, despite adding pickle crisp. I have also canned salsa, and may try marinara sauce, but I'm worried sauce may not be acidic enough, so I may just freeze that.
