What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!
Thank you very much to everyone who commented about my post yesterday about us rescuing the pigeon and how we still have him as a pet 20 years later. He is such a joy!

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: hamburger with melted cheese, corn on cob

I worked at a taco John's for 10 years. Believe it or not, that's when I was at my lightest!
Off to Chicago in about a half hour to meet up with some cousins to work on genealogy. I'll be back home tomorrow night. Not sure what's on the eating agenda, but I'm playing it very safe after gaining three pounds in Colorado earlier this week! (As of this morning, I've lost four and am well within my safe range again!!)
2 years 1 month out
b: homemade Greek yogurt, blueberries and raspberries
s: coffee with half and half, protein shake

Hey hey!
today I'm leaving work early to go to my sister-in-law's brother's wedding. They're a great and super laid back family so I'm pretty excited to be celebrating with such wonderful and fun people.. That being said, I'm so worried that being there with all that food and "liquid courage" (haha) will be a big struggle for me. It's BBQ style so hopefully there will be some healthy choices, otherwise it's gonna be water and more water for this girl haha.
Accountability: did really good yesterday. didn't even look in the weekly friday box of donuts that my coworker brings evvvvvery friday. Stayed on track all day and even went out for my walk.
QOTD: I had a few favorite shows but I think my favorite was Daria. It's a cartoon about this teenage girl in high school who is hilariously sarcastic. I really identified with her as a kid. Some people just don't live for high school I guess. I was totally one of them haha
b: decaf espresso with chocolate pp
l: I'm running late so it's gotta be protein water today
D: TBD, hopefully just plain chicken at the wedding reception
V; patches are on
E; running around this morning like a mad woman haha! just kidding, not sure yet but i'll figure something out.
hope everyone is having a great weekend so far :)

When I was very little, we lived in a small town full of beautiful Victorian homes, surrounded by forests and farms, mostly dairy farms. I was convinced that Lassie and Timmy must live on one of the many winding country roads in our area, and begged my parents to search for their farm ever time we were out driving. They would protest that they didn't think that Timmy's family lived in our area, but I was convinced that they must, and I was dead certain that I'd be able to recognize their farm if I saw it. "It's grey", I would say, unlike the ubiquitous red (or, sometimes, old stone) barns dotting the landscape. I suppose I thought it was grey because, back in the mid-1950s, color TV was yet to arrive.
My brother and I would rise early on Saturday mornings, crack of dawn really, and have cereal in the TV room while our parents slept in. First up (the networks were asleep before that) was a religious/ inspirational show called "It's Light Time!", the intro to which featured fireworks and a song I still remember. Once that was over, there was a great lineup of cartoons. Some of my favorites were Courageous Rabbit, King Leonardo & His Short Subjects, and Clyde Crashcup. Great stuff! But a long time ago!
First: Rooibos tea with vanilla PP
B: 1.5 oz. Burrito Ham w/ Cheddar
L: Cinnamon Buns PP or a repeat of breakfast
D: 1.5 oz. Turkey w/ Cheddar
S: SF popsicle
Work today, running errands, cleaning house, walking in the neighborhood once twilight arrives.
Water, water, water!
You have a fantastic memory!
