What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
Hi guys,
I've been a little MIA the past couple of days. The day of the office move has finally arrived! Heading in this morning to meet with the movers. And then head to the new location and coordinate the unloading and in theory, unpacking.
Tomorrow Morning will be coffee time and catch up on the posts!
qotd: what was your favorite tv show growing up? WE were a one tv household growing up and didn'****ch a ton of tv. Most of it was what the whole family would want to watch. Before school I did catch some inspector gadget and Care Bears. But Disney Hour on sundays on CBC was huge. (Sundays were also pizza night, and the only time we were allowed to eat in front of the tv)
Big staples were Murder She Wrote, reruns of Get Smart. And all the star trek series. And Golden girls is still in my rotation hahah. Also fragle rock and mister dressup!
accountability: I haven't been great at tracking, but I've been on plan and weighing my portions.
menu:
B: coffee with protein shake
L/D: no idea with this move. I think it will go ok, but I have no idea on timelines. There's about 20 men coming with 2-3 trucks. I'm packing tuna and another premier protein to have handy.
have a good one gang! Can't wait to catch up on posts, I feel so out of touch hahaha
edit to fix subject line!

Morning RNY'ers!! I'm getting ready to go for my run- last one for this vacation. I packed 4 workout outfit and used all 4, pretty proud of that.
Accountability: Yesterday I used my parents scale, my weight is up- but am not giving credit to the weight since it was late in the day, and I'm not sure how accurate it is. I'll forge through best I can till Monday when I'm back with my regular scale.
Qotd: favorite TV show growing up was Little House on the Prarie! Love, love love it (I'll still watch re-runs!). After that Cosby show was a fast second, it's what motivated me to want to go to College
27 months, no scale, no weight
m1: Greek yogurt, berries 2 turkey sausage
m2-4: unsure- what's on the menu. protein for sure and will steer away from the other stuff
5'6.5" High weight:337 Lowest weight:193/31 BMI: Goal: 195-205/31-32 BMI
I love Little House!! I loved the show and my mom actually named me Cassandra because she liked it from that show (I think it was a side character, a little friend of the girls). I also love the books, and became something of a Laura Ingalls Wilder historian. I hope to visit some of the museums someday!
Oh, the books are wonderful! Fell in love with them in the 2nd grade, and still reread them every year!
Good morning! Good luck on the move - it stinks that it has to be on a Saturday. When my company moves offices they do it on weekdays thank goodness (I've only been through a couple as a manager having to supervise them).
QOTD: I'm going to seriously date myself, but the only TV show I remember always watching was "Lost in Space". I loved Debbie the bloop (chimp).
16 months post-op, 8 months in maintenance.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: BBQ, so meat of some sort
D: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
S: shrimp, ?

Good morning Menu Family... Busy couple of day's here doing some fun stuff though! Going to watch some dirt track racing... I have not idea why I am so excited I feel like a kid a Christmas. Tonight & tomorrow night we are going to a track we used to go to a lot when I was in high school and I have so many great memories there one of my best friends from high school is going to be there and we don't see each other nearly enough so that will be fun. Plus tomorrow night I get to see one of my favorite retired NASCAR drivers in a sprint car is super exciting to me.
QOTD: I probably watched more TV then I should have growing up but I never really enjoyed shows that were in my era I was teen in the 80's but I really enjoyed watching older shows like The Monkey's and Car 54 Where are You and I loved watching Hill Street Blues. I know weird right! But on Sunday's it was always over to my grandmother's house across the street to have homemade pizza and watch World of Disney with my Aunt (she is 11 months older than me) and play board games. Awe the good ole days!
Food for the day:
B: scrambled egg whites and sausage
L: hamburger patty
D: meatballs and sauce at the track
S: Not sure yet....
Have a wonderful day friends hope the day is good to you...
Have fun!

QOTD: I'm a 90s kid, so favorite shows growing up we're Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers. I loved watching reruns of Little House on the Prairie when I was home sick from school, and own all the DVDs now. TGIF on ABC was a big deal, that was when we were allowed to eat in front of the TV, and sometimes we got pizza! We were pretty poor, so ordering pizza was a huge treat. One of my favorite shows, Boy Meets World, has a spinoff Girl Meets World currently running on the Disney channel. Its adorable and I love it.
Accountability: I ate pizza toppings yesterday, from one heavily-loaded slice of pizza. I had planned on eating that, but it was SO greasy I ended up with stomach upset I don't have a gallbladder, so sometimes greasy food goes right through (tmi?). So I didn't have much appetite for anything after lunch. I had a yogurt around 8 PM and that's it.
breakfast today: DH has been craving biscuits and gravy, but knows he won't be able to eat the buiscuit, so I'm making homemade sausage gravy and putting it over an egg. I'm using turkey sausage, so it may not quite be the same
lunch: sliced salami and provolone roll ups. Maybe with spicy mustard.
dinner: chicken fajita, no tortillas
i generally don't snack much on the weekends, I keep myself busy enough that sometimes I don't even remember lunch until my blood sugar is way too low! But if I need a snack, I'll have blueberries and yogurt
have a great Saturday, all!
