Suggestions for night cravings?
First week back on track and I'm having big time night cravings. Pretty much anything crunchy and salty or chocolate. So sick of yogurt and sf jello and protein milkshakes etc. I need texture and crunch! Haha does anyone have a healthy go-to? I want to make zucchini chips but won't have the opportunity to do so until Sunday at the earliest. Any tips are welcome and appreciated!

I buy Atkins endulge/treats. Some people mentioned they stall from them, luckily I don't. I put in fridge too. A little cool sweet treat that I don't feel quilty about.

To be honest, these are cravings I had to learn to white knuckle through, until they passed. Crunchy, salty type foods like crackers, chips, tortillas trigger more cravings for me. And it never ends.
At this point, I never really have cravings for them anymore. (The exception being dip and salsa envy on occasion...some things just don't taste as good on cucumber hahah)
Ive also learned I can't do faux versions of these things either, as it has the same result for me: a brain screaming MORE!
i do have pickles though, dill, beets, carrots. They change thing up for me snack-wise, without causing cravings. Cut up Radish with salt too.

I get this! I keep wandering into the kitchen, opening the fridge, etc. I'll eat a dill pickle spear, or sometimes I'll force myself to make a cup of herbal tea. So now at night, I think "if I go in there, I'm coming back with tea! Do I want tea?" Usually I don't lol. And I know I'm not even hungry.
Pork rinds are 0 carb and have moderate protein, but I don't think I'll stop at a few rinds, or even just a serving. I'll eat the whole bag. I need to stay away from salty snacks, they're my kryptonite
Beef jerky and zucchini chips work for me, and I also like Quest Protein Chips, BBQ flavor, but don't buy them often because they're so expensive.
For chocolate, I just have a chocolate protein shake and it does the trick.

Did you hit your protein goal for the day prior to this craving? If so. As said white knuckle it. This is your addiction trying to get you fat again. Eat nothing. Try a drink if anything. But if you truly don't need to eat. DON'T.
