Wow Karen, I can't believe you've had that pigeon for over 20 years! I'm always amazed when a flock of pigeons are on our roof at our house... I had always thought they were 'city' birds, but I'm here to tell you they live in the country too! And they are loud, when you are upstairs, you can hear them clomping around on the roof!
QOTD: So, if you can't figure out both my first and middle names from my screen name, I'm not going to explain it to you. I do go by Pamela though in real life... OK, at least that's what I call myself. It always amazes me how many people will respond with 'Pam' when I introduce myself as 'Pamela'... I've been known to correct them quite curtly, especially if I don't like them upon first sight... or especially on the phone with a stranger... if I like you, I'll let you get away with it!
Accountability: Yesterday was another 'hungry' day. I did end up having grilled chicken and some green beans while I was out for dinner, so I didn't go ballistic... but I did pick up a bag of cheetos when I grabbed my son a Subway sandwich after work... and I would have bought them had the stats said '1 serving'... but it said '2 servings', and I get so pissy when they put 2 servings in one bag!! Who eats only half??!! Damn them and their sneaky ways of making things look better on the nutrition labels!!! Why oh why are the Cheestos taunting me this week??! And let's not even discuss how good the bread smells in a Subway... and I don't even like their sandwiches!!!
Today weight was 137.4... treading water at over a year out, and 8 pounds under my goal weight.
B: 24 ounces of hot decaf with fairlife and SF syrup
B2: 3.5 ounces of chicken crack
S: Cheese stick
L: I'm taking a co worker out to lunch today... I'll probably be having a bacon cheeseburger sans the bun, and a couple of onion rings (the place she picked is called The Food Junkie and they seriously only serve CRAP! That's what I get for being nice)
D: Another open slot... damnit. Again, we'll be out... but I know I can pick better than I will be doing for lunch
My pictures... Chickens... two of my favorite roosters, which I will have to choose between because THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!
Our dogs... Uma, the deaf white boxer, and Sissy, the flunky Yorkie... Sissy's picture is of her after Uma attacked her... it's a long story, but deaf dogs are spooked easily, and unfortunately Sissy spooked her. She's fine now, but she was so sad after that happened!

I could, too, Karen, believe me!
But last time I kept two rooster with my flock, and after about a year they duked it out and my favorite one lost... it was really sad because he suffered for a couple of days while I tried, in vain, to save him... this time... I'm not going through that! I'm having them for dinner instead (in my defense, they won't suffer, and I don't have to do the 'deed'... only wrap them up after they look like grocery store chickens and throw them in the freezer)
And you can't potty train a chicken, so a house chicken is OUT! Hahaha

It's going to be hard to pick! But in the sense that if I don't pick, they will duke it out later in life and one will suffer (probably both will be bloody), I have to make the choice in a few months.
Sometimes it sucks being level headed...
And there are at least 3, maybe 4 other roosters in my flock right now... we will be eating well in a few months!
