A 20 year old domesticated pigeon! that's amazing! How wonderful that you saved its life!

My screen name on here is the name of my parent's sailboat the "Slightly Rocky". My Mother's nickname was "Rocky" short for Roxine. My first name is Emilie but I have always gone by my middle name of Roxanne. I hate it when people call me Roxy. My Mom grew up in El Paso and apparently that was the name of the local ho so I was never allowed to be called that. Can't tell you how many times upon meeting me for the first time people break out into full vocals of the Police song "Roxanne"! I REALLY hate that!

My real name is Kathy and my last name begins with S, but we already have a Kathy S here so I just chose my real nickname and the numbers 1 and 2, lol.

I was awful yesterday and ate way more calories than I intended because I had some pepperettes that were not my normal brand and didn't realise how much higher the calories were.

This is the first year I haven't had poodles in 30 years; I miss my furbabies very much, but I do still have my sweet feathered baby, Smokey, the African Grey parrot. I have a pretty photo of her with lilacs somewhere but couldn't find it; it may be on my phone instead of my computer, so here is a shot of her opening her Christmas presents this past Christmas.

I've had Smokey since 1990, and was told she was 6 months old and a boy when I got her...then a few years later, she started laying eggs. Her nickname is Kiki, or Smokita. She's a great talker and a real character.

Breakfast: 2 cups decaf with premier protein as whitener, Greek yogurt with Blueberries

Lunch: Chilli

Supper: Garlic shrimp

Snack: Sugar Free Mr. Freezes, babybel cheese, 1 pepperette (not 2 as they're higher cal than I'm used to)

I once had a Sun Conure that I bought when he was still being hand fed. I had him a few years, but when my daughter was born, I couldn't give him the attention he needed and he HATED my daughter... so we found another bird friendly family to gift him to.

I love that Smokey is opening her own gifts! She is precious!

Hi everybody! Yesterday I saw my regular doctor and I've graduated from super morbidly obese to plain old obese! I never thought I'd be so happy to be called obese!

At this point I don't have a pet. Ibplan to get a cat after I can keep by balance better. I love cats...got my first...smudge...in elementary school. I lived with my brother and his wife for a couple of years and I hung out with his dog while he was at work. My brother would put him...poppi...iin bed with me when he left for work. Poppi was rescued from an abandoned house (he was unable to get out on his own...but he could bark,)

Trader Joe's sells the spice called "Everything but the bagel"... and it's so good! I don't know of any other spice like it, but I could be wrong, and if I am, I'm sure someone will come along and let us both know
