Please give yourself a rest from the worry of the scale. You are ONE week post op. That's a trauma on the body. Let it heal. You'll be ok. The scale is not indicative of what's going on now.

Quick post today, as I spent the morning drinking coffee and slacking off with my coworkers, and now I have to bust my buns to catch up :P

QotD: Writergurl because I write and am female. It was my AOL screenname back in the day, and I thought spelling girl with a U was super clever. It's stuck with me through the years, and is my default handle for most websites requiring a username, with a variance of numbers behind it. 08 on here, for my birthday, both month and day (super original, I know)

Breakfast: Greek L&F

Snack: tuna packet

Lunch: coworkers are springing for pizza (can you tell our boss is out of office today??). I'm hoping with my breakfast and snack, I won't feel too hungry, but I'm planning on the toppings of two slices and maybe a BITE of crust just in case. if I dont eat it, it's a win, if I do, I won't beat myself up.

Snack: cucumber slices and hummus, if I need it, pending my behavior with the pizza.

Dinner: haven't decided, but it will likely be something I bring home from the grocery store tonight. Since I'm on my own it might be shrimp. I love shrimp, and DH has discovered that he no longer does, 2 months post-op, and he's kind of sad about it.

Photos are of my kitty babies. The first photo is all 3 of them. The gray and white is my special "stage 5 clinger" baby, whom I raised from the bottle, as she was orphaned at 3 weeks. She never leaves my side, she'd come to work with me if that was allowed. She walks between my feet around the house, when I'm out in the garden, and gets jealous when I pet or hold the others. She insists also on being picked up and held over my shoulder, like I'm burping a baby. Its pretty ridiculous.

I need to add that in the top photo, she is sleeping with my underwear (it's clean!) because if I'm not home, she finds an article of my clothing to snuggle with. Its normally a sock, not my panties.

Whenever she does something weird (often) we blame it on the fact that I didnt know how to teach her to "cat."
