Awesome!! I would love to sometime, but DH has a whole list of places he wants to go, including Oceans of Fun, so it may not work out this trip. We live in Omaha, NE and visit KC fairly regularly for weekend getaways, or day trips. We went to IKEA for our honeymoon lol! I'm definitely up for it another time. I'll keep you in mind for future trips :)

Morning RNY'ers! We're at my parents for the last part of our vacation. Still working out how we'll fill our time- but movies are on the agend for today.

Accountabilty: an orange cranberry scone was my no-no item yesterday. It was absolutely awesome and I'm glad I don't live here so I can't obsessively buy them till I'm sick of them. Other wise the day was spot on.

Qotd: I have two current goals; 1) taking one fitness class a week for the summer (vacation will put me off track for this, but otherwise am on track) and 2) 55g carbs/day through Labor Day. I'm seeing this is my baseline, so I don't think I'll have capacity to increase it after then.

no weight, no scale. 26+months out today

m1: Greek yogurt, berries, 1 egg, 4 turkey sausage

m2: Jamaican bread/butter

m3-m4: ??

Good morning Daisy and Menu crew! I am off tomorrow and am trying to get DW to go on a hike. Big issue is that our weather has been awful this summer and the mountains are a mess. Wet and muddy and hiking is not as enjoyable with those conditions. We shall see! LOL

QOTD - I have a long term goal. When hired at my job I was told that my background had led them to believe I would be a good candidate to fill our VP/Plant Manager Role when our current boss retires in 2-4 years. I am working hard to learn the business and to become a candidate for that position. I am not close to ready at this point.( and why I have not been as active as I should be on here)

B - Protein Bar

S - Pumpkin Pie Greek yogurt

L -Kielbasa and hard boiled egg

S - Buddig Turkey

D - Baked Cod and Cukes from the Garden

Stay healthy my friends, Mike

Good Morning!!

Day 2 and no Blocked message! WOO HOO!

Accountability: I was good all day and went off the rails last night. SIGH. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good. I never had my planned supper. Instead I had 3 sugar free popsicles, a can of tuna, some almonds, some hummus and crackers. ARGH!! I WILL do better.

QOTD: I have so many goals. The main one right now is to get back under control and take off the extra 15 I'm carrying around, and then 12 more for goal. Second goal is to run a 5KM. Work wise-Goal is to find a new job...oh so many goals. But all attainable.

Menu:

I'm really pleased with my menu today. I am back on MFP and I WILL Log every single day. Every single bite.

Breakfast: Clear premier Protein, Tropical punch./Tea with Restoralax

Snack: Skyr yogurt with flax seed and Poptartx protein mixed in.

Lunch: Hamburger from last night, Heinz 57 for dipping

Snack: Buffalo chicken and celery

Dinner: Can of tuna (lemon and pepper flavour)

Snack if needed: Protein shake, Revolution splash. (I'm on the go from 2:30pm onwards so dinner/snack had to be portable.)

MFP: 825 calories, Protein 126G Carbs 24g (I'm going to try and keep the calories around 900-back to a losing state. 27 to go and 2 years out.)

Exercise: all the running around I'll be doing. If I can get home in time a HIIT class at the gym.

Liquid: Water with flavour enhancers.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Lori

Morning morning! Today is a meeting day so it looks to be both busy and boring. Fun fun. Last night I made beef stroganoff and it was awesome. I have always hated mushrooms yet in the last few weeks I decided to try them again. 45 years of hating the taste but suddenly I now like them. I wonder if it is WLS related or just change over time. Either way I now like them so I am trying all sorts of new mushroom related things. Good times!

QOTD: I am working on writing a book. I have set the goal to be done with the initial draft by Christmas. I am hopeful!

Accountability: No issues last night. Weight is down to 124.

Menu: B: Plain oatmeal with unsweetened whipping cream; L: Peach and Greek yogurt; D: Left over beef stroganoff; S: 3 English Tea biscuits ES: Left over brisket

Have a great day!

~Elizabeth
