I have no experience, but just wanted to say and welcome.
There are a couple of folks that have had to revise, and I'm sure they'll chime in when they see your post.

Can you give some more information? Is this going to be your third revision?
Are they doing it do to acid issues?

I had my revision from band to bypass due to complications last may.... my weight was 198 but I'm only 5'2 so not as lite weight as you . I don't think you'll have trouble losing too much. The revision is slow go and seems to drop off way before you get too thin in my experience . I've lost 49 lbs in 14 months and still have about 14 to go and the weight loss is around 1 lb a month lol . You'll be glad to have the bypass ... your gonna feel so good after living with complications from the band / sleeve

Hi DonnaMaria,
I am a band to sleeve to RNY. This is over the span of 14 years. My band prolapsed and caused me lots of issues. Then the sleeve in 2008. That lasted 9 years but I should have never been sleeved due to chronic GERD and hernia. So hopefully third time is the charm. I am starting at a higher BMI though and I am 5 foot 5 so I have more to lose than you do. Is your revision due to GERD? Just curious.. Usually revisions are slower weight loss. I am not seeing this so far . Dropped 13 pound in 2 weeks, but of course this won't last. Not sure what to say but good luck!!

We'd like to help, but your information is confusing and far too insufficient.

Hi. Thanks for all your responses. I had band from sleeve last February. My bypass revision is not due to reflux but a plethora of other problems.
Can I ask what the other problems are? Most of the time folks revise from the sleeve to the bypass due to reflux/GERD.
Again not sure what your other problems are, but know sometimes the bypass can make something's worse. I hope you have researched this revision well to make sure you don't end up with more issues. Best of luck.
Okay, here are my problems:
I have a high pressure zone in the proximal stomach
My esophagus or stomach (not sure which) looks like the band was never taken off
I have a twist in my stomach
I have a hiatal hernia
I have very bad silent reflux
All of these things make it so I can not tolerate 90% of solid food.
