It's always a great feeling when you bounce back after a carbfest.

Accountability: Went to lunch with my girlfriend for my birthday yesterday... had a crazy busy day but squeezed that in. Had a baconcheese burger no bun with guacamole and about 10 fries. The part that makes me mad we decided to try this new celebrity burger place called Wahlburgers... It wasn't that good, the waitress was an airhead and even though the rest of day was fine, drank lots of water, I was up on the scale this AM and have my 3 year check up at Bariatric office this AM.

I don't know about you but I always want to be my lowest at the doc's office ;)

B: premier protein, tea

S: latte with fairlife/mct oil/miralax

L: taco salad

D: TJs Mahi Burger w/cheese and horseradish sauce. Zoodles sauté

S: Syntrax mint cookie, HB egg, babybel cheese

EX: PT, legs still hurt from all the squats at the gym the other day. Ha.

QOTD: if I'm on an airplane, I figure the person in the middle seat has the right to the armrests as they have the worst seat. And not such an issue anymore as there's extra room.

What a bummer about the restaurant-I have seen mixed reviews on it. Hope your appointment goes well.

Funny you should say that about Wahlburgers. I've been to the one in Toronto and just went to the one in Boston. Both times I was disappointed with the burgers. Not good at all. And in Boston there was a line up to get in-so I figured TO was a one off! Guess not!!

I totally agree about wanting to be at my lowest for a Dr. appt. I'm running another 10k with my surgeon in October and want to shed about 4 lbs before then!

Hi menu friends,

Ugh, armrests were a nightmare back when I was 350 lbs! I used to travel a TON for work, and I was always SUPER anxious about getting an aisle seat, then when I would get on the plane I would pray I could snap the seatbelt closed, and I would try to hold my arm close to my body even though I was totally spilling over it. Sometimes the person in the middle seat would be nice, other times I would get a rude look, and once (this traumatized me for life) I saw a man texting his whoever, and he said, "You would not BELIEVE the size of the chick next to me". It was right before we took off on a FIVE hour flight from San Fran to DC and I felt self-conscious for every single minute. It was awful. Ugh, painful memories but a good reminder that I don't want to be back there!!!

My BF and I had a wonderful date last night in downtown Annapolis. The weather was glorious. We ate at Ruth's Chris (he loves their steak and cheesecake) and I got my favorite - a crab stack. Tiny diced bits of mango, red onion, avocado and CRAB. I couldn't even eat half (small pouch moment) so I brought it home and just had it for breakfast!

B: coffee with cream, CRAB stack

L: Egg salad on crackers

D: Going out to meet friends in town from Scotland - may do Cobb salad?

Vitamin patches on!

Have a wonderful day, all!

That crab stack sounds delicious!!

People are so rude!!! Sucks you had to see that text, but... to take the good out of the bad... if it helps you as a reminder when there's a huge bag of whatever is your kryptonite, then use it for what's it's worth - motivation! (His karma hopefully caught up to him, doofus!)

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!

I have small pouch days and large pouch days, too. It's definitely a real thing.

QOTD: Living in a small town, the issue of shared arm rests doesn't come up very often. Usually the movie theater is not very crowded so there are free seats on sides of me. If I am seated beside a stranger I probably keep my arms in my lap.

Accountability: Protein - 65, Calories - 1,000, Carbs - 63.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: Birdseye Voila cheesy ranch chicken

D: 2 hot dogs

S: light & fit Greek yogurt

E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!
