Struggling to stay on track!
I was just about to jump on this band wagon and have a pity party with her. Thanks Ms. Daisy for the kick in the butt. You are exactly right, I have started to eat carbs, and other crap that I have no business eating. Starting today I will get back on track.

Daisy,
you are 100% right and that's exactly what I needed somebody to tell me. You're right, it's not what I want to hear but it's what I need to hear. I wish somebody would just hold my hand and tell me it gets easier but I know it will be a daily battle. Thank you for giving me the reality of it all. It's all stuff I knew deep down but I think I just needed someone to tell me straight up to quit messing around and make it happen. Thank you for that! I am going to do my best to not stray and get back on the game! That being said, I am burnt the heck out on what I've been eating which isn't making it any easier so I will start looking into other people's recipe suggestions. Thanks again, I really needed that tough love.

Okay, I am going to pipe in with a little bit of advice here -- and again, I want you to succeed ---
Have you ever heard the AA expression KISS? It stands for Keep It Simple Stupid.
Now, I don't think you are stupid -- but, I do want to suggest to you that while getting yourself back in line, recipes are the last thing you need. You don't need recipes for grilled chicken, steaks, hamburger patties, shrimp, tuna, eggs, 1 oz portions of cheese (limit this!) -- etc -- you need SIMPLE and boring for a while.
Anything you add to that, well, is just prolonging your misery and keeping you from really getting back on track.
3 to 4 oz servings -- EVERYTHING weighed and logged ... 60 oz or more a day of water (add miralax since you've been carb-ing)
KISS.
Give yourself at least a week -- preferably two -- to really re-set and detox from the carbs and clutter. KISS. I find that a week of nothing but meat, small amounts of cheese and eggs -- gets the scale moving in the right direction (inspiration), is simple (hard to mess up) and cleans out those carb cravings.
You will be surprised at what you can and do accomplish.
No recipes -- no added things -- GET CLEAN and get to goal. KISS.

This is so true, plus it keeps the stress levels down...
I grill up a steak, portion it out, freeze it into individual bags, and viola... breakfast, lunch or dinner...
1 lb of ground beef will make you 4-5 nice burgers... throw a piece of real cheese on top, add some mayo/mustard/ranch when you eat them and they are good
I prefer boneless chicken thighs over breasts but you can use either... cut it up, weight it out, freeze it, and grab and go.
Buy a package of cheese sticks, or baby bela cheese to bring for a snack... beef jerky, yum (although with braces maybe not for you).
KISS... I like that, a lot.

Just checking in on you.
I believe in you. I hope you believe in yourself today, too.
You got this.

Kat, you are such a beautiful soul!
so far so good. Having a chicken roll up for dinner and then possibly a snack in a little bit of Greek yogurt if I just can stand the late night crave for something else. Had a heart to heart talk with Zach and he's totally on board with throwing all the garbage food out and getting back on track too. He hasn't had any surgeries but he's at least wanting to make positive lifestyle changes along side me. It means the world to me to have a husband who tries to support and understand. Doing ok, I think. Thanks for checking on me. It's so appreciated and I love that I have people out there that genuinely care.
