Good morning, all!

Daisy, I am proud to say, I did NOT have an IKEA cinnamon bun yesterday. We ended up checking out around 6:30, and since we eat lunch at 2:30/3 and dinner at 8/8:30, it was a weird time to just randomly have a cinnamon bun. Mind you, had I been alone I surely would have anyway, but I was with my BF and you guys; he is just NOT interested in food, has never been a pound overweight, doesn't obsess about meals, doesn't count calories...ugh it's SO annoying how normal his attitude about food is lol! Honestly sometimes we eat the same amounts!!! He has a protein bar every day for breakfast and then whatever protein/starch/veggie I make for lunch and dinner. More starches than me and often a bigger serving of protein, but seriously sensible sized meals. I don't get it but I'm also seriously envious!

i do talk about y'all but as "friends" - he would never get a support website for obesity (and god this website has the worst name ever!) and I think he would find it so weird to be honest. I've mentioned that I read online menu posts but he just does not relate to it at all. Every once in a while, he will see an old picture of me and say, I can't believe you used to be fat (he's only known me as normal sized and post plastics). He doesn't say it in a mean way, just in a surprised way. He only knows me as someone who is active and cooks high protein meals and forces healthier eating habits on our family as a whole :)

time since surgery: 3.5 years

b: 2 hard boiled eggs

l: leftover turkey burger, cucumber salad

d: date night! The weather is nice and I feel like being taken out :)

e: mowing the lawn at lunch

v: patches will go on after shower

Have a great day, all!

MY BF is so similar... it makes me happy on one point - and pissed off at the same time. No snacking. He gets hungry - he eats. Or not - if we are busy. And he does not plan his daily or weekly foods. And very little snacking - and only if he is hungry.

In the past if I would ask him just after he ate what he wanted the next meal - he would look funny at me - "I just ate- I don't know what i would want when I get hungry". I stopped doing that. Now I often ask him as close to dinner as possible. or I make a few dishes and he picks what he wants. The rest - we have during the week or I have for lunches. I often cook on weekends or prep the foods.

I learn to have more variety that way- "I used to could" eat the same thing every day a couple of meals a day. Now - I can't stand that. If I have chicken for lunch - I need something different for dinner.

OMG they could be brothers! When Kris was single, he ate a protein bar for breakfast, a protein bar for lunch, and either Chipotle or Jimmy Johns for dinner. He has never craved any food that I can tell! Like, he has never once said, "Oh I'm in the mood for Chinese" or "Let's order pizza for dinner" or "Can you make those lettuce wraps I like?". Every time I am making our grocery list, I say, "Any particular requests for this week?" and his answer is unfailingly, "Whatever you make is great". WHAT KIND OF FREAK IS THIS?

Also, I have never seen him open the fridge and look in and mindlessly snack. He frequently leaves food on his plate.

His only downfall (and the only reason I know he is human) is that he likes crappy fruity candy. Like Skittles and Runts and Mike and Ike's (none of which are appealing to me). So he will have a few of those from a baggie every now and again. But in a tiny portion! It's so weird.

I wish I was normal about food.

@DCgirl & @HalaB

Count my hubby in as well... never has had a weight problem ever. He is down right skinny. When I met him 17 years ago his diet consisted of McDonalds, Burger King, and Pizza.

And same as Kris Emily, I ask what does he want for groceries, I get "I don't know." I walk into the kitchen a million times more than he does. I am the one that always has snacks in my purse if we go out and I will say, "want a cheese string," him "nope, not hungry." Well how I am I hungry and yet Mr. Normie is not.

****** me off LOL LOL

I am also the one busting my tush at the gym 5 days a week, what does hubby do, one night a week he plays baseball and thats only April to September! Ugh damn you fat girl who lives inside of me and loves to eat!!!

I know, right? Yesterday he got busy and had a meat stick for breakfast (my low sugar Jack - link); some lunch, then got home late so he had some Nut Thins crackers. Not a whole box, just some of it. "it was too late to have dinner". He loves good food , but pizza and burger king or Subway and he is fine.

plus - he says he "LOVES Donuts".. yea.. but in the last 6 years I saw him eating them 3 times. And that only because I bought them for work and brought him home 2 each time. Yet - he says HE LOVES them.???? and going to buy them is too much trouble... But... he would drive to another state to get his Dr Pepper made with real sugar... he drinks soda - 1-2 a day... maybe 3 on a very hot day...

I know - I always pack "snacks" and he could seriously go the whole day and "forget" to eat.

He works his arms out 40 minutes a day, 4-5 days a week, and still somehow has a great ass and legs lol. Meanwhile, even post-LBL, I am droopy.

And for the record his protein bars are these manly 350 calorie ones too - not nasty little Quest bars. I hate normal people and normal metabolism sometimes!

OMG.. mine is like that... do you want anything (costco run) -"nope". I have ti suggest foods knowing what he may like or not like. Thankfully we have similar tastes in most foods, so if I like something - he probably may like that..(except liver and weird things like that). but - he can't eat the same things over an over... no way..He rather not eat.

He likes pound cake.. I both him one. But I had to freeze 1/2 of it. 6 month ago. i am running an experiment... lol. I mention it at least once a week after dinner... so far- i hear "no, thanks...I am full"

If I take it out and put in the table - he would eat slice or 2. (FYI - I vacuum packed it- no freezer burns)

My DH is like your BF - has always been slim and doesn't understand food issues. Sometimes I have to remind him to eat! Sounds like a few of us have this kind of partner!
