Maybe try the CAMAW again (on your own) for a reset and detoxing from carbs?

Hi All, I gotta make this quick and come back to read later... Last day of all day presenting for awhile. Thank Goodness!

Question for any Band to Bypass revisioners out there! Do you ever feel any pain or swelling where your port used to be? I am starting to and I don't know what it is (scar tissue? hernia? infection?). Waiting to hear back from the surgeon today, but I am curious if anyone else has had that issue?

Accountability: switched some stuff out for dinner but stayed within a general plan.

QOTD: My mom is also post op RNY so she reads the boards sometimes. She was especially interested in reading when I first met "Grim" and she was all up in here for awhile . I am pretty sure she stopped reading once she decided she liked him :) She knows many of you by user name and I can refer to you that way and she'll know who I mean. And yeah, as Grim said--we talk about you all, ALL THE TIME. It's nice actually because when else would two adults who start dating have so many mutual friends? It's nice to have that in common.

Posting a screen shot of my menu so I don't have to write it out.

2 years post op/ no weigh in today / trying to lose a few lbs before 8/11!

Have a great day everyone! 3 sleeps, my Franken-Friend!

no swelling or anything other than post op. though I do have a hernia on my abdomen (about the size of an apple ...or port) perhaps. it is a bulge that disappears if I lay on my back... I can't help but wonder if it is from the port.

PS my doctor told me that if it becomes painful to b-line to the ER because if it is a hernia and it is trapped it can become gangrenous.

Good morning menu folks! The weather is cooler today and less humid so I just might try an outdoor walk. I miss it when I don't go out, but I mind the heat so I try to balance the two.

The scale has finally moved down and I am 154.8 this morning! I have an appointment with my surgeon and my pulmonologist tomorrow so I am glad that the scale will be a bit lower.

QOTD: I don't talk alot of about what is going on on here, but when I do people do wonder whether it is good advice.

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 pieces turkey bacon

Snack: Lemonade protein shake

Lunch: TJ's Vera Cruz swai, Brussels sprouts

Snack: 2 oz. Turkey breast

Dinner: TJ's Balsamic chicken

Exercise: long walk, deep water aerobics

Morning everyone. I've been on a run and I'm currently enjoying the free hotel breakfast with my son. Today we'll go to a water park.

Accountability: I'm not monitoring my 55g carb goal to closely week. Each day I'm allowing myself one 'no-no' item. Between the exercise and walking I'm not to concerned about the indulgence. Yesterday it was 1/2 of funnel cake and an alcoholic beverage.

Qotd: no I don't talk about anyone here to others. My hubby or sisters would be the closest I could talk to, but they are so far from understanding my commitment to this post op life they already think I'm obsessive.

No scale, no weight 26 month out

m1: scrambled eggs, 2 turkey sausage patties, 1/2 English muffin and 1 small pAncke

m2-4: ?? But I have a cheese stick, boiled egg, deli meat, Grapes and 1/2 protein shake to use up

Good morning everyone. I have a carpool buddy to the new office! Well mostly he will drive and I will pay him, but it's great to have that option. I was home by 5 last night, and didn't have to leave the house until 6:40 this morning. It was great. Charles and the kids were out shopping when I got home, so I got started on supper. Made ribs in the instant pot and finished them off on the bbq. They were quite good.

QOTD_ I do talk about you guys a lot! Mostly I will be generic, but there are a few that I do refer to by name- especially you Daisy- since we've met in real life, and you've been my real life coach since pre-surgery days! I would love to be going to Boston with you! :) I also have a friend who posts mainly in the Ontario forum. We live in the same city, and we do the same work - she's a broker and I'm an underwriter, so that is actually how we figured out that we know each other. We text on a regular basis. And Erin- we are definitely going to do a meet up soon- Once Daisy is back from Boston, we will figure out a date.

Scale is the same today- 195.8- but better than bouncing up and down between 197 and 199. And I'm so excited still to be out of the 200s. I've had some constipation issues too, so I am sure that's part of the problem. I am looking forward to that 100 lb milestone.

Menu:

B: Protein Shake

L: Salad bar- probably cottage cheese if they have it and hard boiled egg.

D: Chicken thighs- I might make jerk chicken in the instant pot.

Greek yogurt for a snack later.

Accountability- I stayed on plan yesterday but did not start my new workout program. We have bible study at our house tomorrow night so we were busy making the main floor presentable. Hung some pictures and rearranged a few things- It really is starting to feel like home and we're all loving it. Now that the house is ready, I can start tonight.

Have a great day everyone!
