Hello Menu Crew! How is everyone? 3 sleeps to vacation until I get to see JB & Grim my fav "frankie" friends aka Frankenstein aka rearranged guts (I am trying to be funny at 6am hope it makes sense LOL)
Accountability: stayed on plan, swapped out deli meat & cheese for rotisserie chicken breast
QOTD: Other than JB & Grim who are both from here on OH do you talk to your spouse/family/friends about the people here on OH? I remember when I first joined and would be talking to hubby about "Oh Grim said this about lab work," or "DCGirl posted a great dinner idea," or "Annybanny is getting married!" I swear he thought I was making you all up. And here we are almost 4 years later and some of you have become dear friends in real life and I can't imagine my life without you all. Sometimes my Mom will ask me "how do you know all that stuff about your surgery & vitamins & what to eat etc etc," and I tell her "my friends from OH," she has a hard time wrapping her head around the whole online boards/virtual friends but she's 73 yrs old so not of the online chat generation.
3.8 years post op RNY - maintenance (btw lost 2 of 3 pounds I gained from the damn Ikea cinnamon bun)
B: boat loads of decaf with vanilla PP used as creamer
L: 5oz of rotisserie chicken breast + bbq sauce
S: 2 cheese strings + raspberries before the gym
D: 5oz of rotisserie chicken breast + bbq sauce
S: yogurt + raspberries + tbsp bran buds
TOTALS: 893 calories, 142 protein (gotta love chicken breast), 27 carbs
V: patches are on (Iron, Multi, B12, VitD & Calcium)
L: decaf all day then water with cran for the gym/evening
E: day 2 of fav gym classes: 60 min step class & 60 min muscle pump

Great cool rainy day yesterday! I haven't had a day with no AC in a long time. And the rain meant I had to stay off my feet for bit.
QOTD: I don't talk about OH with anyone else, but JB and I talk about all of you a lot. That's right. You know who I mean.

Qotd: oh yeah!all the time! Depending on who I'm with, sometimes I'll just refer to a forum I was reading, but my husband gets to hear all the news hahahah. I refer to you as my internet friends hahah I also do make jokes to make it sound creepy sometimes hahahah
hope to meet some of you in real life soon! My hubby suggested I go to the OH conference in California. Maybe some year, but it doesn't seem like too many regulars attend?
we might need to organize an eastern time zone weekend meet up!
Today is the misterS bday. We're going to take in the all star game tonight that our local team is hosting. Last night was the skills competition, but it was cancelled because of rain. Should be fun, if it's dry!

THANK Y'ALL, for the fabulous birthday wishes, yesterday. I didn't think I cared about the "Big 6-0", one way or another...but, to be honest...and I try to always be honest, in here...I guess I care more than I realized...The wishes I received, here, made me cry...as there weren't that many, IRL....which leads to the QOTD...
QOTD: I have met hundreds and hundreds of peeps, via OH...many, many IRL...more stay cyber...But I have built LIFELONG, TRUE friendships. My mother never understood how you could be friends with "someone you never met". My granny called my OH peeps "your friends IN your computer box"...I thank God, every day, for my friends, in my computer box...
Had 8 Short Peeps, for a short period of time yesterday...but mostly had 7...busy, but somehow not TOO crazy day. Today will only have 3...It's like a vacation day!!
Yesterday's meal plan was great, if you don't count subbing bundt cake for lunch. An expected visit from a long lost "friend", with a big ole cake...Dayhum...
But, birthday is over...Back on plan...
