What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers
Hello Everyone,
i had a very nice weekend that was pretty uneventful which was really nice. I started a knitting project to keep my hands busy on my down time so I don't feel the strong pull to snack as much and it has helped.
Accountability: I've done well over the weekend but tried salt and vinegar pork rinds at a restaurant on Sunday and really enjoyed them, like maybe too much. I guess it's ok once in awhile when I'm out but I don't think I'd ever bring them in the house.
QOTD: I used to get migraines when I was younger but I've not really had them very often in recent years. I can get a pressure headache when a storm is coming but that's not too often either. For awhile after surgery I woke up daily with a headache. I eventually realized I need to drink more and that cleared it up.
B: decaf, premier protein as creamer and sf torani
L: left over pork chop
D: sirloin and broccoli
S: Starbucks souls vide veggie egg bites, almond milk with iced decaf and sf torani, babybel

Good morning OH~ I had a very nice relaxing weekend with Rob, ahhhh. Today, he is supposed to find out about the local job. Please think good thoughts or swing a chicken that he gets it!! The traveling has been really hard on both of us and even the dogs, but especially him.
Accountability - I have been barely eating the last few days as I've basically had the runs since Friday. I've lost 10 pounds in the past week (this was preceded by a stall and unexplained 4 pound gain). I'm thinking/pretty sure that I was seriously backed up and all the 'go meds' I took the last couple weeks finally caught up and have cleared everything out. I will NEVER stop taking Miralax daily again (however - waiting until body calms down to restart this). I have been hydrating like crazy pounding smar****er, broth, crystal light and eating popsicles like you wouldn't believe and I feel pretty good.
QOTD - I used to get daily headaches of all sorts and took Advil sometimes several times a day. The weather headaches are awful, I felt them all over my body too it was horrible. I've had 1 migraine since surgery and a couple little headaches that have gone away on their own. Nothing much of anything anymore. My PCP said all my headaches were probably due to carbs/sugar or Advil rebound.
8mo post op - 187 today
b-coffee w/heavy cream and splenda
l - not sure...
d-probably some soft scrambled eggs
v/l - on track
e- 60min lap swim - if I'm feeling ok....
Have a good day everyone!
