Morning Menu Peeps!
Accountability: I can't really remember anything terrible passing my lips this weekend. Hubby is home, and since he lost 10 pounds since surgery, he's all gung-ho about eating healthy, so that helps! A few bites of the Halo Top ice cream that I bought last week, but there's still probably 1/4 of the pint in the freezer, so I've done very well 'snacking' on that. Oh... after I finished this post, I did remember 4 Oreo Thin cookies passing my lips this weekend... Hubby brought them home, and honestly, aside from Cheetos, Oreos are the second biggest thing I used to binge on... so the ones I did shove into my mouth over the weekend weren't like it used to be (and really folks? THIN Oreos? That's just stupid. I made him hide them from me).
QOTD: I am very lucky and rarely have headaches. I used to get migraines about 6-10 times a year, but since menopause, they've pretty much disappeared, which is a good thing, because I used to take 800mg of Ibuprofen when the lights started - I used to get ocular migraines. I hope I never have another one!
Weight this morning 138.0... over one year out, maintenance diet with hopes of one day squeezing out another 5 or so pounds... guess I will really need to buckle down when I want to get serious about that!
B: Been making a HUGE 24 ounce cup of decaf with Fairlife and bringing it with me to work
B2: I have 2.7 ounces of shredded beef in there
S: Cheese stick if I need it
L: 3.5 ounces of pork chop that I grilled last night
S: 1 serving of pineapple ancho chili pork rinds
D: Up in the air, but probably grilled chicken breast made into chicken salad that I made Saturday night

I don't undersatand the fondness for Oreos. I never once bought them. Sure, I ate more than my share, but if I was buying my own poison, they'd be at the bottom of the list.
And thin Oreos? How is that making it better? Crazy.

The weird thing with Oreos, for me, is that they're not at the top of my list of things I used to love either... but if they were in my home, I would eat them, non-stop, until at least one of those sleeves was empty. (and do you know how bad your teeth look after you binge on those stupid things?? I swear that black cookie permeates your teeth!
I never understood it. But it happened. A lot...
Thin Oreos is even more stupid. I don't even know why he came home with them!

Good morning. I had a great birthday weekend. It was very chill but it was fun. I got to see my kids and have dinner with them. My son came home to take me to dinner. Of course I only saw him for the hour for dinner that night. He was off with his friends.
Headaches suck. I only get them when it gets crappy out. I take tylenol. But it usually doesn't help. I try to take nice long showers hoping that helps.
B:Coffee and an egg white sandwich from Wawa
L:Salami and cheese and olives Walmart has some nice little packs that are portioned. I will eat a whole jar of olives and wonder why I am swelling up like a tic
D:Burger no bun
S:Cheese or yogurt
Have a good day. It is just sticky here. Not hot but one of those days you don't know if you are cold or hot.
Happy belated birthday!

Yay, Susan! Happy belated birthday! Your new tattoo is awesome. I am so glad you had your best birthday as your 50th. I am heading towards my 40th and having VERRRRY mixed feelings. I mean, I know age is just a number but it's freaking me out, regardless. That's awesome your kids came home to have dinner with you. Your commitment to your sobriety and family and positivity is contagious. Thanks for continuing to post! Hugs :)
