What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers
Good afternoon,
It was a hot weekend here in Michigan. At least it cooled off and not humid today.
Accountability I had a piece of cake at church yesterday. Friday i had a low blood sugar attack so i had protein bar and pineapple. Otherwise i was on plan.
QOTD I don't get them anymore. When I was a kid i would get migraines daily but out grew it.
B egg mcmuffin
L tuna and cottage cheese
D roast beef and mixed vegetable
S bbq pulled pork
Have a good day
Good afternoon Daisy and Menu friends!
Accountability: I did OK considering I took an unscheduled trip to the lake and didn't take any food with me. There was a pasta only dish last night but while it was off plan from a protein level the calories weren't horrific and so I'm not feeling guilty. I won't be eating pasta again any time soon...
QOTD: I used to get migraines every month with my cycle. After I stopped that nonsense they really got better to the point where they're only a few times a year now. I take a prescription pill, Amitriptylin 25mg, at night and it basically eliminates them as long as I remember to take it. It also helps me get deeper sleep so that's a win!

I had a lovely weekend. I was supposed to help a friend sand old oak floors, but instead I went up to my parent's cottage at Lakeside Ohio, and visited with friends and family. My five year old nephew loves to go hunting for Pokemon so we did a lot of that, and I took my little sister's dog for a run. That dog MISSES me! He was so excited to see me and then was sooooo depressed when I was packing up my car to leave. He kept trying to climb in my lap during dinner - he's a pointer, so NOT A LAP DOG.
I'm in this weird between size where my waste is small enough that a size 12 pant looks silly, but my hips are too wide for a size ten. I have outfits that work for the office (jacket covers up the pinned waste)but for casual I've been wearing leggins and running tee-shirts. I felt very exposed around family and old family friends, like I was naked. it was weird. I kept feeling like I had to explain why I was walking around with leggins on. I just don't want to invest in causal clothes until I get much closer to my goal weight.

Late post for me today. Didn't get to bed until after 12 pm then got up at 4:30. Started cleaning up the house when I got up. Just finished catching up on posts so now I can make my quick post.
Accountability: Ended up not eating all of my planned food yesterday so totals were all lower than I posted. Got to busy at work and didn't have time to eat.
QOTD: I get migraines occasionally, due to the herniated discs in my neck. I have only had one since my surgery thank goodness.

I am so grateful for being back to normal and getting to eat my regular diet.
I've embraced this change and it's working. Same things over and over. Food that is meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit, vegetables. The only carby carby thing I eat is 2-3 tablespoons of Kellogg's Bran buds in yogurt. I feel in the groove and I like the simplicity. Being sick and not being able to eat this was much harder than I thought.
The scale is going down or staying the same. The difference is in my head.
Today chicken, roast beef with mustard, yogurt, bran buds, and maybe tuna later.
Headaches aren't on my problem list thank goodness.
