QOTD: I get headaches often, they go hand in hand with seasonal allergies, and a headache is usually the first indicator that I'm getting sick. I get migraines every so often, they usually leave me bedridden for at least a day.

Accountability: yesterday I ate fried pickles for lunch, and put away half a bag of caramel ginger popcorn from Trader Joe's. I separated the remaining popcorn into more responsible portions to fini**** off, but It won't enter my house again. Way too easy to binge it. I also didn't get nearly enough water in. Today I'm staying on top of hydration.

Breakfast: Greek L&F. Crappy break room coffee (I made coffee at home and left my mug sitting on the counter. Happy Monday!)

snack: sliced cucumbers with a yogurt-based veggie dip

lunch: spinach salad with 2 oz leftover steak

Dinner: making crockpot chicken enchilada "casserole"--chicken breasts, enchilada sauce, and green chilis. I'll shred the chicken after work and eat my portion with sour cream, salsa, and cheese added

Ugh, I love you and hate you simultaneously, Daisy...I am literally going to IKEA tonight and now I am like, "ok, I have to have a cinnamon bun there since I have never tried one". LOL!

I am so sorry to hear about your headaches :( I used to get a lot of headaches when I was SMO, now they are much less frequent. But they were always weather related and the only thing that would help was Sudafed, these little red pills with pseudoephedrine in them. Well all the meth heads have ruined my life, because now you have to get it at the pharmacy and show your license so you don't buy hundreds of Sudafed and cook up crystal meth. Once I had an awful headache and was popping Sudafed like tic tacs and it wasn't working and I realized I had the non-pharmacy kind...ugh.

I am so excited for you that you have vacation to look forward to! I can't wait to see what you and JB get up to next week. Lemme guess...meat eating, shopping, baseball...so much fun!

I have a vacation coming up in NOVEMBER and I can't stop obsessively planning it since I am so excited. Work is sending me to Copenhagen so the BF is tagging along and we will go to Stockholm too. I've never been to Scandinavia. I don't like pickled herring but I know the food will be great. So will every single aspect of traveling at this weight (plane seats, train rides, walking 10 miles a day, etc.).

I have fallen off the exercise bandwagon in a major way - so much so that I bought an elliptical this weekend. I need to have it in the basement so I can just NOT have an excuse for why I didn't make it to the gym. Even if it's just an hour a day of some cardio, it's better than nothing.

Time since surgery: 3.5 years

B: 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon

L: thin crust pizza with bbq chicken

D: turkey burger, cinnamon bun at IKEA??????

E: Nada...the elliptical comes Wed and some "expert assembler" from amazon comes Friday to put it together - yay!

Vitamin patches are on!

Have a wonderful day, everyone. A huge birthday shout out to Susan (3BassetHounds), Gina, and Cynthia (NYMom) for tomorrow...I love seeing how healthy and happy y'all are!

When I go to buy Sudafed, I always ask them for the biggest box they have behind the counter... they always give me the side-eye

But those new ones you buy in the store just ARE NOT THE SAME!

Happy Monday. This week is going to suck! My last full week in the office before a week of business travel and I'm BUSY! Hoping that it flies by and that I'm not too busy to keep up with my gym schedule. Nothing puts me in a worse mood than missing classes.

Accountability. I think I told you all that I was going to the Dodgers game yesterday and that I fully intended to have a chicken and waffle sandwich. Even though I'm in maintenance, it was still a huge internal battle . . . do I or don't I? I had 1/2 and it was amazing. And it turned out to be not too horrible. A chicken tender, a piece of bacon and .25 of a waffle. Worth every bite, but back on plan today.

Edited to add DQOTD: I get migraines. I loathe them.

My plan:

B: 1.8 oz ham steak, 1 egg, tbs cheddar cheese

L: 3.78 oz rib eye

D: Skirt steak, salad

S: Skinny latte, light and fit or single serving size container of cottage cheese (the 90 cal variety)

Will add totals later.

I've never understood the whole chicken and waffle thing... I ordered one once from a food truck a few years ago, and I didn't like it at all...

Maybe I got a bad batch, but it was dry... and all the syrup in the world didn't work for me.

This was soooooo good. The chicken had spice to it and wasn't dry at all. The put syrup on the bottom of the container and my friend took one for the team and took that part of the waffle. The waffle was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and the bacon was perfectly cooked. I was blown away that this was from a ballpark! And it made the place smell AMAZING!

My scale finally moved so now it is your turn!!! I'm hoping your scale shows you a loss tomorrow. We know we are doing everything right so it eventually has to go down.

Edited for typo.
