What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers
on 7/24/17 3:21 am - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Happy Monday everyone! How are you all? I am good. Four days to vacation! It rained at my place all weekend, I had a weather pressure headache all weekend and had a bad sleep last night, I need some sun! Hope you all had good weekends!
Accountability: there was an Ikea cinnamon bun that I ate over the course of the weekend and thin crust pizza consumed, not the best but I suppose it could be worse. I did have the yummiest Swedish meatballs at Ikea so there was protein LOL I am SO carb sensitive my weight is up 3 lbs today, I can lose that this week but its so frustrating that I just have to look at something "carby" and poof I am up in weight! UGH!
QOTD: Do you get headaches? I usually get weather pressure headaches and they can be brutal. And we have had such a crappy rainy summer the headaches have been pretty frequent. If I eat something that has potato/potato starch in it I get a BAD migraine, like put me in the hospital bad as I am allergic to potatoes and the migraine it produces is horrific.

10+ years post op, living & loving life!
Good morning! I'm already looking forward to the weekend, but in the meantime I have to get to work early, so I'm posting fast.
Most importantly:
FOR GINA: We did go to the Cowsills concert and it was a lot of fun! They are pretty good musicians and joked a lot about having very few of their own songs. They played their old hits and some other period music. Only 3 of them are the originals: Bob is 68, Paul a few years younger and Susan is 58. 3 of the 4 backup musicians were family (2 sons and Susan's husband). The songs they played which had been their hits were: "I love the flower girl", "Indian lake", "Love American style", "I think I love you", and "Hair". Picture below.
QOTD: Very few headaches these days although I periodically had migraines when in peri-menopause. NOT FUN!
16 months post-op, in maintenance (.5 pounds below my range today)
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese, English muffin and peanut butter
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: 1/2 leftover burger and veggies
S: protein chips, yogurt

Glad you enjoyed the concert Liz, looks like fun!
I didn't realize that being peri-menopause I might get migraines, oh joy! LOL LOL
Yay for being below your range! Awesome! Have a great day!
Enjoy that new sexy car!!
A few things about being a woman are not fun. Hopefully you won't get migraines (I didn't get too many thank goodness)

Good morning Daisy and menu folks! Daisy, I'm sorry to hear about your headaches. My wife gets migraines, but I don't get headaches very often thankfully.
I had a good weekend and we got some tasks done around the house that needed to be done. We disposed of an old stained rug and put up a new blind in the bedroom. I also got some good food prep done for the week and some crocheting done for relaxation.
The scale is finally moving again after more than a week of ups and stall. I know that I am eating and exercising right so it will move eventually, but it is frustrating when it isn't moving.
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey bacon
Snack: Grape protein shake
Lunch: TJ's sundried tomato chicken sausage
Snack: 2 oz. turkey breast
Dinner: hamburger, cauliflower
Exercise: 50 minutes on the treadmill
