Love the shoes and the pup too. I could probably walk in those--maybe!

I had to stop wearing heals a few years ago, but can easily walk in these, very stable.

Good morning... I made it by the skin of my clock being able to say that.... What an awful night I had.. Dinner did not settle well last night and I was up all night feeling like I was dying. Does not help that sometimes when food does not settle well the tumor in my esophagus acts up and I get double the pain had that last night so I got about three hours of sleep tops and that was not even continuous it was a little here and a little there....

Accountability: I was on plan but did not eat my planned for SF popsicles because of pain and discomfort.

QOTD: I think I just kind of stumbled upon it from another web site maybe Eggface and it was when I was home recovering from surgery that I found it and it was love at first read.... I think I lurked a little bit before I created an account and my first posting was an NSV when buying clothes for my mom's funeral. I do read all the daily menus as I can because I am always looking for new ideas and I love the tips, funny stories, QOTD, and just hearing how everyone is doing in general...

Food for the day: Well currently I am sipping on water and even that is not my friend today. I know I need some food but I am still having some discomfort.

My favorite shoes are like yours Daisy so exciting at least yours have some color to them! I do have a lot of shoes now but I find I either wear sneakers or clogs. in the winter I do like boots my daughter calls them Newsie Boots.

Have a great day friends.

Ugh, I am sorry to hear about your awful night! 3.5 years in, I know once I get that feeling, I have to throw up. It won't go away otherwise. It's like instant relief to empty my pouch. I have had a few nights where I lay down and realize uh oh, that didn't sit well. Sorry again, and feel better!

Good morning and happy Friday (it is Friday, isn't it??) I'm finally in the office at a relatively decent time (I've had meetings and/or court appearances all week) so I feel I can post. Weekend plans? I got tickets to the Dodgers/Braves game on Sunday. I'm not going to lie, one of the deciding factors was an email from the Dodgers highlighting the food specials this homestand. For the Braves series, they're selling a chicken and waffle sandwich. And you'd better believe we're buying one. I figure I can have a single bite of it without getting sick (waffle, chicken breast, bacon and maple syrup), but I'm having my bite and not going to feel guilty about it . . . oh and Clayton Kershaw is pitching so it promises to be a good day all around!

I'm not focusing on accountability in this post since I haven't posted all week, but it was a good day yesterday.

DQOTD: No one told me about it. I think I googled WLS and the site popped up. I read for about 6 months before my surgery in 2014. Originally, I focused on the VSG forum, but then about 6 months after my surgery wandered over and found you lovely people. I've called it my home ever since.

My plan:

B: HB egg, 1/4c of cottage cheese and bacon

L: Chicken Thigh meat

D: the big friday ???????

S: Skinny latte, ham and cheese roll up or 1/2 a protein bar

No calories given the ??? at dinner, but will be on track.

You are killing me with the friday photo limitation, Daisy. How do I choose? sigh. I'll flip a coin.

I bought new running shoes when I was recovering after my conversion to RNY. I sent this picture to my surgeon, told him they were for my first acid free run and asked when I could wear them. These shoes (yes, there is a mate) got me through my last 1/2 marathon with my fastest time ever. There's now a hole in the left shoe made by my big toe, but I love them and can't get rid of them even though I have a new pair.
