I think Susan was about my age. The rest were older, though

Good morning menu folks! It's another hot and steamy day here, so I will be staying indoors as much as possible.

I plan to hit the treadmill for 50 minutes later on this morning and then maybe take an afternoon break at the pool.

QOTD: I joined OH before surgery when I was trying to find out as much about surgery as possible. It has been a great resource for me and support.

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 ounces ham

Snack: Grape protein shake

Lunch: turkey breast, broccoli

Snack: 2 ounces turkey

Dinner: crab cake, asparagus

Exercise: 50 minutes on the treadmill, swimming

It's on of the flavors by Syntrax Nectar. I get it either from Amazon or LuckyVitamin. Yum!

I like the grape Syntrax ones too, and they make pretty good slushies (mixed int he nutribullet with plenty of ice and water). I made popsicles when I was freshly post-op but that seems like too much work now. Lol.

Morning!

its Fri-YAY! It's been a long week, and Im just looking forward to a little unstructured time...and housework I guess ? Ugh. I think we're going to get a cleaning service. It's a luxury, but I'm kinda done. I was resistant for a long time until a friend pointed out it's just a service like any other. In theory I could cut my own hair, but I pay someone else to.

qotd: I found OH through my clinic as well. after surgery, directing me here is the best thing my clinic did for me!

accountability: I have been struggling with a bit of head hunger lately, I think partly it's the social aspect of summer, and the foods that go with it, and partly self sabotage now that I'm under 200. I never strayed from plan, but the types of food I was eating wasn't ideal. So calories were higher than id like, protein lower.this week I cut out nuts/seeds and lazy food and feel better already. Cravings are gone, and the scale is moving again.

Photo: it's a throwback to last winter. I loved these boots. They weren't completely waterproof and the heel is now split on them, and they are actually too big now (when I first bought them, I couldn't always do the inside sipper up without really loosening the lace bacause of the size of my calves)

But! They were hands down the most comfortable pair of winter boots ever! Super soft and pliable, I always had a hard time finding boots I could wear for hours, or walk or hike in without get blisters or feeling like they weigh a ton! I really don't know how I'll replace them...

Menu:

B:premiere protein

L: leftover salmon

S: cottage cheese with some fruit

D: tbd I'm on my own tonight and haven't decided if I'll stay in the city, or head to the farm.

have a good one!
