Love these, but I'm not sure my feet would!

Love these. But since I never learned to walk in heels and can't do pointy toes without lots of pain I think they're out for me.

Yay on the comfort range on the scale again!!! It feels good, doesn't it?

Oh, and a bonus Friday picture. I very seldom go into my local downtown area, but had to go to the paint store yesterday. There is this little store that's had the sign below on the sidewalk for years now. I finally got out and took a picture. It really seems to be one-stop shopping -- something for every occasion.

Happy Friday! I'm going to stop whining about my drowned car today (getting the new one at 10). DH and I went to the weekly summer band concert on the harbor last night - very enjoyable! BIL is visiting with SIL locally so we are going out to eat at DS' restaurant tonight. The BIG summer county fair is ongoing this weekend (next to our neighborhood), so we may go with our neighbors to either see Blood, Sweat and Tears tomorrow night or the Cowsills on Sunday night (those groups are from WAY back).

QOTD: My surgery center gave me materials listing support sites at my first visit and OH was one of them. I joined OH 2 days later. I asked one question my first day then spent the next few months reading and searching OH. I've been on daily since WLS and frequently prior, but not daily until I started to join in more. I do think some of the others who participate pre-op have a big jumpstart by doing so.

15.5 months post-op, on maintenance.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: bacon cheese burger w/o bun

S: nut thins and hummus

I live in sandals in the summer (soon to be almost year round once I retire and we are in Florida in the winter). I bought these sandals last year because I had a coupon. I thought they were different, but I've gotten so I really love them as they work for both casual and dressy and are very comfortable. Too bad my feet are so ugly these days!

Added comment (can't edit for some reason): Did I mention that I LOVE shoes! Also, I rarely wear sneakers except when exercising as my feet always feel hot and confined in them.

The Cowsills are still alive? I'd have guessed they were either dead, or living in a home somewhere.

LOL - me too! Maybe they perform from wheelchairs????

I looked them up. 4 are deceased. One of those died in New Orleans during Katrina.

I'll have to do a Google before we go!
