Happy Friday everybody! I've spent the day trying to straighten out all my beads and assorted junk. Every once in awhile I try to make it look like a sane person works there. Usually everything's thrown all over the place within seconds...what can I say I thrive in chaos.

I found out about OH from a list my bariatric group gave me and from a list in WLS for Dummies... Yes it really does exist...actually not bad...not totally correct...but reread it several times. It was my security blanket. I started lurking on OH s couple of months before my surgery and signed up about a week from surgery. OH has really been my lifeline. I really like my fellow WLS people alot. The menu thread has proven to be a great support. Everyone's so down to earth and willing to help.

Next topic: I used to have tons of shoes. Now that I'm old I have a few pairs of "comfort shoes." My feet are a wreck.

Just want to say you guys are the greatest!

Hi all,

OH first came up for me while searching for info about VSG, the procedure I had first considered. Later I saw it listed in the info my center provided.

I work at home and live in a warm climate - I am usually barefoot! I have a dozen or so gorgeous tall boots, none of which can make it over my current calves! I also have lots of truly beautiful heels, but since becoming so obese, I have worn flats except for occasionally. My feet and ankles look pretty slim, but I won't feel good in heels for a while yet...I hope by Christmas.

Hi everyone,

i found OH on an internet search. My weight loss center never even heard of it!

I wear just plain white New Balance sneakers. I have to really good ones with the roller for stability. It helps with having very painful flat feet, even with custom inserts.

Accountibility: I stayed on plan yesterday.

B: 2eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice cheese

L: 3oz turkey breast

S: 2oz turkey breast

D: tbd

S: ostrim meat stick

Enjoy the rest of your evening everybody!

Hello menu friends late post for me again today. Working nights all weekend, so it will be a long one for me. On the bright side I was able to get tickets for the Garth Brooks concert near where I live. He started out with 1 show on Sept 16th and before it was over with they added 5 more shows.

Accountability - ate on plan yesterday!!

QOTD: I found this site when I used Google to look something up pertaining to WLS. I lurked for a couple weeks and then joined exactly 3 months prior to my surgery. I had been dieting for 3 months before I found this site and once I found it I changed my diet to high protein low carbs to get ready for my surgery. I credit this site for a lot of my 85 pound pre-surgery weight loss (49.8 pounds of it to be exact).

I forgot to get a picture of my favorite shoes before I left the house. The shoes that I wear everyday to work are Sketchers with memory foam. I have several pairs of different colored ones. They are the most comfortable on my feet.

Today's menu:

B - iced coffee w/ 1/3 protein shake , 0.8 oz. beef stick

B2 - 3.5 oz. shrimp w/ ****tail sauce

L - 3.5 oz. shrimp w/ ****tail sauce, baby bell mushrooms with laughing cow cheese wedge

D - 3.5 oz. Pork Loin, 68 grams yellow squash

S - 40 grams spinach, 79 grams grape tomatoes, 81 grams (1) mini cucumber

S2 - 3.5 oz. Chicken Breast

Calories - 714, Protein - 121, Carbs - 26

Have a great weekend everyone!!
